Earlier today we gave you a look at the Jordan 6 Rings Hall of Fame commemorative colorway, now we have a look at the loved, and hated Air Jordan 2009. The Air Jordan 2009 “Hall of Fame” has recently arrived at RMK. This commemorative colorway features the same graphics as we saw on the 6 Rings, but placed on the uppers rather than the midsole. These shoes are nice. Best of all they feel real nice and the support when I land from jumping is crazy. I have a bad right knee and ankle and with these on I can actually feel a little shock absorbtion effect. After running and jumping for an hour or 2 I usually have to ice and advil. If I wear these I can take a few advil and Im good…. Well made shoes with a design that works from a technical stand point.

These shoes are pitiful. Not the colors because the colorway is nice. The sneaker itself. The Air Jordan 2k9’s are busted.

It’s funny to see people claim they can tell other people what ”true” jordan fans have to like in order to be called a true fan. I only have one pair of 2009 , the S23 because I liked the colorway and got them for a good price. I also own many ”true jordans” as these so called Jordan historians claim they can identify. The shoes I own are to me, TRUE JORDANS, because in my OPINION I like them and don’t have any problems fitting them into rotation. I think a lot of ”true jordans” are ugly, for example the VIII to ME in my OPINION are ugly and too bulky and I felt that way since their original release. So I feel just as bad for people who waste even $100.00 on them as used or sale shoes, as many of you on here have expressed for many if not all of the 2009. Your opinion is just an opinion like mine is, and your opinion doesn’t make it true or factual for everyone. I’m a Bulls fan, Jordan fan and this color scheme is nice, and these shoes are comfortable, unlike say…the Air Jordan 1. But people still buy those and those are considered true Jordans by most people who know what they’re talking about. Think about that before you complain and sneakers YOU just don’t like. These get 8.5/10

These are strictly performers, they’re hard to pull off casually though. I hoop in these 3-4 times a week, and have pushed my hyperdunks and Kobe IV’s to casual status.

what were they thinkin when they put HEELS on this joints??? SMH. The side panels are a lil played out IMO. Best and OGs are the 13z! They gotta come up w/ something better than this. Also, HOF 6rings are the only 6rings I would cop. One of the better colorways next to the flints and blk/red joints.

I have a paid of the regular black 09s and they are good performance wise, even if they don’t look great. But this version takes ugly to a whole new level.

Im not a fan of the 09s, but these aint too bad. Theyre a bit better than the others. And this week’s bad and fugly has to include the NFW Hyperdunks, not these 09s.

I like the design and that they are moving in a new direction. Being an older Jordan collector I can appreciate what’s happening and being their for the first Jordan to hit the scene in the 80’s. Plus it’s a good look if you want something that no one else has.

This is the Jordan 2009 that will sell with the 6 Rings as a package. But these colorways are awful.
There is suppose to be similar colorways for a 1 and 3 package… I’m waiting to see those. It will be interesting!

I have to agree…just don’t think this design had much of a chance…and oh…I finally tried a pair of 2009’s on…awful…the Hyperdunks (for example) are soooooo much more comfy for balling. Shouldn’t Jordan Brand be leading in the charge for quality/comfort? Instead they’re making shoes for 5th Ave H00e’s.
