Eric Koston Joins Nike SB

It’s official, Eric Koston Joins Nike SB. We’ve seen the rumors floating all over the net for a while. Even sightings of Koston at the Beaverton employee store. After Lakai made the announcement that Koston was leaving, there has been a whirlwind of speculation as to where Eric Koston might end up. The speculation can be laid to rest, it looks like the Swoosh has prevailed. So what will come of this? A new silhouette for one of the top skaters in the game? Probably so, but how much will this impact the future of skate footwear, only time will tell. Koston is a known sneaker fanatic, so expectations are high for the future. Koston may bring Nike back up a little bit, but his personal reputation went down…He has lost the respect of many skaters worldwide by selling out to the ones he dissed before “I would feel like I was turning my back on core brand skateboarding, but if Nike offered me alot of money I would wear the swoosh on my chest” I hope selling out was worth it bro…

Koston’s always came out with good shoes.. Back in his days when he was with ES’ and whe he was with Lakai.
He knows what he like’s with durability comfort, shape, and form of the shoes.. I’m preatty sure will be seeing something good and new for Nike.. Maybe more of a Skating concept to Nike.
Never the less.. It’ll be good for Nike & the Skate world!!!!

while i was hoping koston was going to vans, its all good. i just hope that nike makes him a better shoe then the p-rods.

hell yea will bring nike back to the top people who kno shoes buy koston’s shoes and koston’s is more than a skater hes a celeb so that will nike even more this cake nike gnna be back at the top for every sport from now until kingdom come

wow thats a shock he’s a legand to the game. even though i been rockin p rod 1’s four years ago sb is died now. hopefully eric could revive it.

Late….
Been heard about it, but very noble of him to leave Lakai for the sake of the other riders. Now Im waiting on the signature model or inspired colorway. Eric Koston is the best IMO.

What does that even mean? The P-Rod’s are Nike’s, which also have swooshes on them. Are you waiting to see if the swoosh on Eric Koston’s shoe looks better than the swoosh on P-Rod’s? Cause it’s just a swoosh.
