Black and pink ones are the hottest ones…i mean like the grey ones aint do it for me so much but since black is my favorite color, it just looks so subtle and it goes with everything. i got some brown, tan, and pink louis comin in any day now and i guess after that imma just stop buyin expensive shoes…..

I obliged to the Zen’s myself. I have the Black/Pinks and the Nets, but the Zen’s are my favorite by far (still looking for a pair in a size 11 lol)

I copped all 3 CWs and I think all of them are dope in their own right, but I must say after wearing the net/net over the weekend….I think the net/net are my favorite because the CWs is so different….so I gotta go

I wore my zens to Summer Jam yesterday and boy oh boy, was I breaking necks. I paid for my Yeezys by selling neck braces for $20 a pop. LOL. I still have to pick up my Nets from my connect. Didn’t have time to get them this weekend.
On the real, I was shown something by a retailer that blew my mind. Most retailers are only paying approximately $135 for the Yeezy. Only a few FTL are selling them for the $215 retail and most others at mom and pop stores or boutiques are selling them anywhere between $300 - $500 then those shoes go to Ebay and sell between $600 - $1000 and they only cost $50 to make. Supply and Demand are a B&$%#!
Oh by the way, that glow in the dark sole is the real deal.

i was able to grab the zen (2) pairs and net (2) pairs @ retail $215.00 + tax. the black pair was a bit more difficult. more campers and earlier lines formed. i don’t ever pay the over price but , for the black and pink i dropped $500 on the morning of the release. and am still looking to spend $500 on a second pair. BLACK and PINK YEEZY’S ARE THE WINNER!

From a colorway standpoint, The Black/Pink is the best cw. From a quality standpoint, Definitley the Zens/Tans. While I like the way the neoprene material feels on the black pair, it creases so badly that it takes away from the shoes. The Zens on the other hand I’ve worn multiple times and still no creasing and the leather is so soft and buttery. I’m assuming the tans are just like the zens. I havent gotten them yet but I will so I can complete the trilogy.

i dont think i would buy either shoe i had a few chances of getting pairs but there just not worth it i can buy some really nice really exclusive pairs instead of these i even told my homie to back off of these cus they jus hype they wont be in for very long trust me but shout to kanye for getting the opportunity to make his own nike cant hate on that

i think most people like the black and pinks because its the most simple of the colorways and easy to accessorize. small and closed minded fools, go figure. considering the flow of fashion in this generation, simple falls dead last.
the zens were love at first sight for me but the insane color scheme of the nets are growing on me.

I Definately like the zen gray yeezys, the gray is more versatile in terms of color coordination. But the black and pink ones are also versatile, the pink gives them a bit of a “kick”. The Nets are just not appealing to me colorwise at all. Someone said it earlier, they look like they were made from Band-aid material.

My fav pair is the net/net. Then zen greys, and last the black pair. I like how the net/net have the GITD nike check and a minimal use of the “y” pattern. Plus it’s a hot colorway that stands out. Not too many kicks come out in that colorway. you can get a pair of grey or black kicks anyday in my opinion.

Any customers who don’t get the limited edition shoes, yet are still interested in the notion of “limited” or “exclusive” shoe ranges will opt to buy some of the lesser known styles, or they will create their own “exclusivity” by buying the lesser worn Nikes and making these shoes “their own style” so to say (for example the plethora of air force 1 styles, the huge amount of air Jordan range, or the individualisation of air force 1’s by guys like Mache custom Kicks etc.
Nike has made what would have been an average shoe; into something special by limiting it’s release and numbers. I love my airmax ‘90 infrareds, but half the reason I love them is because I know I won’t be able to get them easily, so I protect them, and show them of with extra pride when I wear them, so do yeezy wearers, and all the other limited kicks owners.

The good old ‘create scarcity” principle in Marketing (I know it isn’t called that, but I’ll explain). Basically, what Nike did with the Yeezy range is release a set of shoes, which are painfully hard to get. Buyers loyal enough are able to get them, creating exclusivity amongst those that have it, and demand by those that don’t. Nike hence rewards the very loyal customer by “allowing” them to get their hands on a pair, whilst creating a sense of “need” and “want” in the consumers that didn’t have them. Need and Want are two staple principles in marketing. If there is a want, there is a need, and vica versa. What does someone do when they can’t get their hands on a pair of Limited Edition Nikes? They make sure the next pair that are released they are ready for, hence Nike through this action increases in base of loyal and devoted fans for the next big release. Essentially it’s a multiplying effect to the hardcore Nike fan base, which plateaus out to a relatively large buyer base.
