Jordan Spizike Black/Varsity Red-Cement Grey
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jun 24, 2009 Earlier this week Eddie Cruz of UNDFTD gave us a quick look at an upcoming pair of the Jordan Spizikes due out in February of 2010. Today we have a better shot thanks to osneaker that clearly shows some of the detail that went into this pair.
The usual side netting that came from the Jordan 5 was replaced with the mesh from the Jordan 4. Also, the “Spike” print that hit the toe cap and back of the sneaker has been replaced with a more familiar elephant print. To finish off the cosmetic transformation, Jordan Brand speckled part of the midsole and the “wings”. Dare we ask if these are the best Spizikes to date? That’s for you to decide. |

i’ll be upset if they don’t drop this color way in the spiz’ike jordan nike……those infra red joints is corn flakes…grape’s suck and the black patent spizzy’s aren’t as hot as these…..

poor mans iv’s, all jordan spin offs are ghetto as hell, (dub zero’s, fusions, etc) all a weak excuse to not have or have something similar to the real line up. anybody agree?

There’s also blue in the air-sole, (nice touch). But, something in the mid-sole “ain’t quite rite”. Cool greys still the best…

agreed with Montana on the DTRT Spizikes as the top colorway. Second of all, the other spizikes are true spizikes.. with the spike print and the 5 netting on the side.. the 4 netting is whack to me. I love the 4s, but Ive had an issue with the netting, especially the one they included on the CDP 4’s. So to be fair, in order to be the #1 spizike, you have to have all of its characteristics.. which this just lacks.. but this is a hot colorway, no doubt.

These are a very hot colorway, and i was all about it until i notice that the jumpman on the tounge is blue….. What is that all about???? IMO this really brings down what is a classic colorway and the possibilty of this being an overall classic spizike. Why give us such a great shoe and do it so wrong???

The Black/Red/green Spizikes are THE best of the lot. These are ok, but the 1st Cement Spizikes are nicer and much better executed than these black here. Im cool with my cement, cool grey, kings county and citron spizikes but not sure to get this new one.

Well why not a GRAPE SpizIKE would be off the chart as long as the colors are placed properly, If any of you remember our once very own NICEKICKs member who was like a photoshop king, did a photoshop of the GRAPE colorway and it was nasty.
