Posted by Nick Engvall | Jun 23, 2009 Now that we’ve made it through the madness of the Yeezy releases, it’s time to look ahead at Yeezy’s next creative collection. Whether or not you can afford, or even like these sneakers, Kanye West designing for Louis Vuitton is groundbreaking on many levels.
The Kanye West for Louis Vuitton is headed to retailers in the coming weeks. We have a look at five of the designs from the collection, three being high tops, two being lows. Kanye uses similar color makeups on his LV collection as we saw on his Nike Air Yeezy’s. The only ones I actually like are the creams, but other than that the rest are hideous, but I HATE THE PRICE, it’s ridiculous, this is why Kanye also collab’d on the Yeezy’s ‘cus he knew not everyone would be able to afford these things. I still don’t like Kanye tho.

ONLY the white ones will get a look. all that other stuff is for people tryin to stunt too hard.BTW: I think its crazy how people say he is so amazing as a designer, when you can clearly see his influence from Reebok and other designers in this shoe as well as the air yeezy. I love Kanye as an artist always pushing the limits, but when you take another persons work and call it your own that is just wrong. As an ARTIST he should know that the worst thing you can do is take credit for something that you do not deserve.

This is a truly historic moment. Kanye West is the first black to do a clothing/sneaker collaboration with LV. I know many of you are thinking of Pharrell but Pharrell didn’t do clothing, he did accessories. There’s a distinction.
Other than the ridiculous price tag, the shoes have a lot of thought in the design and are very creative. They measure up with my love of straps and high tops.

Just being honest. These kicks are hideous. I believe that there are some people who actually like these kicks and will buy them, and I can respect that. I also believe that there will be many that will only buy them cuz they are loyal members of the Kanye legion of fans, and they are just being hypebeasts! I think the yeezy’s were wayyyyy better, and I actually have the gray and tan joints. Keep it 100!
