Lil Wayne Dazzles the Crowd in the Supra Skytop
Posted by George Kiel III | Jun 29, 2009 Although Lil Wayne does not have an official contract with Supra, he is obviously an avid fan of the skate footwear company. Recently we have seen him sport the TK Society and at last year’s Video Music Awards he laced up three different Supra Skytop colorways. At the BET Awards last night, Lil Wayne surprised many (even Supra) by pulling out thisbedazzled pair of Supra Skytops.
This particular Skytop features a 100% silver glitter application on the base mixed with a white vulcanized rubber sole. The left shoe contains the letters ‘CLV‘ on the tongue, while the right shoe possesses the number ‘26‘ on the tongue. According to Complex, Supra did not send this shoe to Lil Wayne; however, if this shoe were to release would you purchase these Supra Skytop? |

If anyone hasn’t realized yet, they’re a tribute to Micheal Jackson people. Instead of the glitter glove he applied the same concept to his shoes. Some of you on here just love to hate on anything no matter what it is. It was pretty thoughtful if you ask me. Good job on paying your respects to the Greatest Entertainer Ever Wayne!!!

the shoes are cool. im still over here tryin to figure out what the tongue symblos mean. but on the real tip i love waynes music, went to some concerts and all (not tryin to be a hater or n e thing ) but…….the performance last night SUCKED! It wasnt well put together and wayne shoulda had the auto tune mic turned on and mack maine shoulda too.
