Nike Air Force 1 “Jones Beach” Quickstrike

The Nike Air Force 1 has released in many different color schemes and styles over the years (see our Air Force Friday). However, this Nike Air Force 1 “Jones Beach” has to be one of the better colorways we have seen in a long time. With that said, this highly anticipated, stylish sneaker is a quickstrike release at retailers such as Sneaker Bistro. First off, this particular Air Force 1 pays tribute to New York’s state park named Jones Beach. Sticking to the nickname of this shoe, its base is made mostly of a sand-colored canvas texture. In addition, the heel panel features a unique wooden fence design. Other features on this sneaker are inspired by Jones Beach as well. For example, the tongue contains a picture of a water tower, the insole possesses a map of Long Island and the translucent sole portrays a crashing water wave. Click here to view detailed photos. |

1) it’s the map of long island on the bottom…2) the heel is a seaweed digi-design, not a wooden fence!! 3) you guys were late with this one!! the offical release was 6/26 @ Street Gear (who designed the shoe). But all that info as well as pics were on NT and ISS for 2 1/2 weeks!! I know—I LEAKED THE SAMPLE PICS!!! I guess if Sneaker Bistro didn’t get them, you’re Nice Kicks readers would not have known. If you guys searched…you would have known about this!!….Already got 3 pairs….I was wondering how long it was going to take you guys!!!

they aight. Not to take away from them actually being sope in themselves but they look like just another cloth pair of AF1s. Not inventive or anything, just nice.

So stupid. I can’t believe people have taken the shoe game to be a matter of politics. It’s like it’s not about “Wow, these are hot” anymore. Now it’s about “Well, where do my brand model loyalties lie? Not a popular model? Then I couldn’t be seen dead with these, even though I think they’re hot.”
What the f*ck happened to instincts. If you think it’s hot, you wear it. You make it happen, you make it your style, your trend. I think these are hot, and I’ll be spottin ‘em, and god knows they’ll be fresh then.
