Nike Hyperdunk Low “Marty McFly”
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jun 17, 2009 The Nike Hyperdunk debuted last year as the lightest basketball shoe to date in a special Marty McFly colorway that released in limited numbers that built tremendous buzz for the new standard in performance basketball footwear. This past year the shoe was a staple item on the feet of more NBA and NCAA basketball players than any other model, but coming in 2010 is an even lighter weight, low top version of the Nike Hyperdunk.
Following the lead of its high top predecessor, the Nike Hyperdunk Low will release in a Marty McFly inspired colorway. Availability is not known yet or a release date; however you can look for them in stores next year for $90. |

the high top mclfys had too much going on for me, though i do know a guy who managed to cop two pairs (one in amsterdam, one in nyc through a friend) and he loved em. sold one and kept one.
but honestly, im feeling these more than the either of the hi mcflys that have come out, though im still loving that tennis ball hypermax.

I feel bad for anyone holding the real McFlys…too bad Nike has once again bastardized a good release by:
a) putting it on the HyperMax
b) putting it on a cheapened low top version of the limited release
c) putting it on other shilouettes.
Great job Nike……….

Hmmm..
The Nike Hyperdunk Cut In Half = Nike Hype

true; they are not a WOW kind of shoe but I dont expect that from a lowtop. I expect a clean and simple(but not too simple) look and that is what this shoe possesses.

what’s next, a mcfly vandal?!? LOL.

These have lost their appeal as low tops, for me…
The whole idea around the Hyperdunk was that high ankle…which was sort of taken from the actual shoe design in Back to the Future II…
Great colors…but the high tops are worth the hunt.

pssssht !!! i think these are the best hyperdunks ive seen yet. For $90 though you can’t beat that.

The Hyperdunk low just doesn’t have the wow factor that the original did.

Trash.
But I’m sure the “McFly Hypes” are still hungry for more.
Eat ‘em up.
