Nike Zoom Kobe IV “Draft Day”

The 2009 NBA Draft was a memorable night for players such as Blake Griffin, Ricky Rubio, Tyreke Evans and others; only time will tell who are the standouts of this draft year. However, Nike has just released the Zoom Kobe IV “Draft Day” in memory of Kobe Bryant’s 1996 draft year (see our History of the NBA Draft and Signature Sneakers). If you recall, the Charlotte Hornets drafted Kobe Bryant in 1996 and traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers for Vlade Divac (go figure). Therefore, this colorway is inspired by the Charlotte Hornets. It features a predominately white upper with teal accents on the toe cap, tongue, and heel. The latter area also features Bryant’s draft date, 6.11.96, in purple, imprinted numerals. Additional hints of purple appear on the swoosh and on the Kobe logo (tongue). Available now at Shoe Trends. Thanks to Daily Drop for the heads up. |

What if someone has a pair of these sneaks one with the wrong date, one with the right date and they have been signed by him? Do you think they are worth anything?

These are available on quite a few sites, in full size runs…
Hopefully no one is gonna try to profit from these.

hah i got these ones tht say 6.11.96 on the back of the shoe and im gunna get the next ones tht hav the real date on it. the one with the wrong date is definately a collectors item especially since thares not gunna be tht much of them out
