The Good, The Bad, The Fugly

Last week I switched it up a bit to incorporate more than just appearance into the column, because as most of us know there is so much more to sneakers then just the looks.
They say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery, but as can be seen in this week’s The Good, The Bad, and The Fugly, if you do it wrong, it’s not flattering anyone. Also, what’s up with using tired styles over and over again? At least we have the McFly Hypermax to look forward to, but the rest of this week’s options were kind of depressing.

The Good
The more we see of the Nike Hypermax McFly, the more it seems t grow on me. After seeing the glow-in-the-dark photos, these have once again stepped up another notch on the watch list. Judging by the comment section, most of you seem to feel the same.

Way way wrong on the fugly. So-called elephant print isn’t the focus of those great Asics. Only someone jaded form choking down years of Nike crap would care so much about a little gray texture.

i agree with all of the choices.
and yea, Nike should choose a variety of shoes to retro instead of older shoes in newer colorways(some are alright, but i’ve seen like tons of Nike’s last year/this year that came out but in different colorways.)

To break away from the “typical” Dunk/Dunk SB and Air Jordan I, I’d RATHER see the Dynasty on my feet right now.
I have ENOUGH Dunks and Jordan I’s, so you actually have that backwards with the Dynasty article.
Bring on the Dynasty!!!
And the McFly Hypermax is wack, for the 3847t5678493th time.
If there was a McFly Reebok Omni Lite, you people would STILL like them and the McFly is synonymous with the NIKE BRAND ONLY. Damn hypes.

Those are actually my least fav colorway of the hypermax so far. Gotta agree with the fugly…those are just terrible.

I will be honest I dont think the dynasty should be considered bad because I love the sillouhette and especially the leather cause it looks like a good quality. I would definetly cop especially because not much persons are copping it.

The first two are hot but the asics suck. Yo i went to super jam 2 in st.louis and nelly came out and they performed air force ones, then he cut the song short and said we don’t rock those no more and said we rock a whole lotta these tho and on the big screen they showed his feet and he had an exclusive white/red colorway of the 60+ jordans. Those are definetely a must cop now!!!!

Yeah I totally agree with the “BAD” choice….. I’m burned out on retro silhouettes like this…..and if they bastardize another AJ1 I’m gonna go crazy.
Those Hypermax will be on my to cop list since I missed out on the tennis balls on RMK! *smh*
