Gucci Mane, and a shirtless Lil Wayne ripped the Birthday Bash in ATL this past weekend repping Nikes, while Perez Hilton hit the red carpet (pre getting snuffed by Will I.Am’s manager) wearing the Black/Pink Yeezys in the weirdest way possible.
Besides that, check Pharrell and Clipse’s footwear on the set of their “I’m Good” video, and Jay-Z rocking his predictable go-to pair of sneakers when he hit the stage at his wifey’s concert in NYC. Be sure to hit up the comments and let us know what you think about today’s lineup. |

He’s far from crediable when it comes to being an educated sneaker collector. And far from a big part of the shoe game. Plus he’s a celebrity (if you wanna call him that); he can probably afford what eva he wants. Perez Hilton has Yeezys, does that make him a real sneakerhead.
The point I’m trying to make is that us regular people, don’t have that kind of disposable income, and need to budget for what we add to our collection. And no prideful Nike head would eva buy Fusions.
The Fusion was popular w/ rookies, when they first came out. (Believe me i worked @ Finishline and every 5th grader needed to have them to be the cool kid in school).
Being an 80s baby you’ve seen the best Nike/Jordan designs of all time. The is no excuse for FUSIONS none.

Being an 80’s baby myself I agree with you on the Fusions thing, to a certain extent… What my stalker doesn’t understand is that *I* rock Fusions on a “limited” basis… Since I’m working 5 days out the week (often 6), I only have two days to rock sneakers, period. And with the collection I’ve amassed over time, I often pass over my Fusions time and time again for more “traditional” Jordans or Nikes. Let it be known.
And hey, doesn’t Joey Crack aka Fat Joe have Fusions? He’s one of the major collectors in the “shoe game”, point black. Said it himself in a Complex article… I’m not saying “When In Rome”, but I’m saying…

I agree with Sully41 about the ajf shoes. Real shoes collectors would never, I repeat, never buy fusions as part of their collections. Maybe to wear as beaters(playing ball, cutting the grass) To me they seem corny. To me it seems that it brings down the exclusivity of the actual jordans. (ex. the jordan flights looks alot like the jordan vii.) But if you like em , dont let me change your mind. I am a 80s baby so I grew up with the og jordans and thats why I like the “Regular Jordans”.
I agree with Romeo about the black and pink yeezys being the best CW. the leather on the black and pinks feels alot more durable too.
and whoever talks s#!t about the Yeezys are just hatin because of 1 of 2 things, maybe both.
1) They dont know where or how to get a pair besides EBAY.
