The Air Jordan 2009 has been released in a number of colorways. Today, we have a look at some unreleased samples that never made their way to your local sneaker spot. The Air Jordan 2009 has received mixed responses from sneakerheads. For some of you, the style has grown on you since we first saw this silhouette months ago. These samples feature a couple of noticeable differences from production models. One is the midsole coloring is not marbleized like most of the previously seen models. Additionally, dots similar to that we’ve previously seen toebox of the CP3.II, have found their way on to these samples as well. i was confused on these shoes when they first came out,i love jordans,but the 2009 were really an ugly shoe, i was confused,cause i was let down when i seen them, i kept thinking inside of my mind,how couldve jordan actually co-sign this,and put this ugly shoe out,well,to make a long story really short,i passed on them,and i wanted to see if other people liked them,everybody hated this shoe,it would seem like the man who brought us classics like 1-14,and18-23,would bring us some really good heat, i hope the 25,s arent a let down like these.

Say what you want about JB but they make the most comfortable shoes for hooping. Though I must say these are whack along with the fusions and some of the 1s they released this year.

Red heel mess the whole shoe up– jordan got the right model — they just have to do a better job

i have never really liked the design. i really think it fails terribly in what i perceive a jordan shoe should be–cutting edge design and unparalleled on-court functionality. honestly, i can’t judge how it performs on-court because i can’t bring myself to buy it–the design really throws me off. imho, the design does not flow properly. it has too many layers which seem unnecessary and it really reminds me of the reebok spectacle (which i really thought was an ugly shoe)–most especially the heel area.

i like the final version way better than these samples. glad they cleaned them up and made them look better than the originals. Great shoe to hoop in, been using them on and off since february

I actually considered getting the white\black ones to ball in because they are comfortable (not to mention V.I.M.) was selling them for a mere 60 bucks) but they didn’t have em in my size. The black\red ones aren’t ugly, just… empty. Devoid of character. The 2009’s in general look like they should’ve been on the feet of the machines in I, Robot but they’re ok to hoop in. 1

What you have to remember is that JB did not produce the 09s for style purposes or looks the created this shoe for ballin and ballin only. Its on of the best and most different ballin shoes out there and it performs well. I have the White/Black/Silver ones and i never wear them off the court. these shoes are reaching the basketball consumer, not the fashion world.

Of all my shoes, these are the best to play in as far saving my feet from pain afterward, but they look terrible. To me, they look like bowling shoes with a weird jewel on the side. It’s a good thing I don’t care about the looks too much.
That is interesting news about Footlocker sending their 2009s back to Nike. Wonder how long it will be before they are on sale.

You will be happy to know that all Foot Locker stores are shipping back all the 2009’s back to Nike and will no longer be selling them, with that said, you will be able to pick them up for CHEAP at the Outlets very soon! They are actually a very comfortable bball shoe, but I’d never wear them for looks.

the Bred colorway has to be available somewhere!!!
Jordan Brand is retarted for not releasing the Bred colorway. The Breds will always sell, even if it’s an ugly shoe, it will sell. Bulls colorways always will be copped my MJ fans. The White colorway was garbage. The Black/Gold was alright. The so-called Bred/White that was last released was garbage too. These should’ve been released first. Bad business move JB. Also a bad move letting “what’s his name” design these in the first place. Wonder how he’s feeling now, knowing that his creation didn’t sell well? And a mistake for MJ signing off on these too… I’m out…!

If not for the neat little jewel on the 2009s, they may be semi tolerable. The released 09s definitely are nicer looking that these samples. And that says a lot for the samples.
