Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” Available Online
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jul 14, 2009 Jordan Brand is putting heads on the hunt this summer for the True Blue Air Jordan 3. The shoes will release as an international exclusive meaning no retail drops Stateside. Thanks to the invention of the internet (no Al Gore) international boundaries will not block us all from the shoes. On the flip side, expect to have to pay higher prices with foreign currency exchanges and shipping costs.

i dont see what the hype is,i dont really like blue,i dont like the way they colored the elephant print,with the light grey,even if it was a state side release,i still wouldnt cop,ill stck with the white/and fire reds they released a couple of years ago,OG coloways is all i like,i dont understant the hype around this shoe,maybe because JB always half way release them to the public,and its very limited,ive just never been impressed by this color scheme.

My dude, it makes no sense to cop the 2000 (”OG”) ones. First off, they’ll run you 500 and better (could’ve bought 2 of the ‘09 versions!)… And since there’s freshness issues (and by that I mean, given the state of age\condition they’re in- even if they’re BNIB), the condition of the sneaker will deteriorate even after moderate wear (if you do decide to wear them). Lets face it folks, in these days of $220 black Air Max Griffeys, $375 eggplant Foamposites, and the beast that jacks up these prices known as Flight Club, $250 for the True Blue 3’s is tolerable. I mean, hell, people *stood in line* for the frickin’ $200+ Air Yeezys after all… 1

It’s give and take for J’s globally. The US got the Nubucks and now we’re getting these. Overall, the US get more exclusive heat than us, so I end up ordering all the J’s that Canada doesn’t get ( I haven’t seen a single “sole” up here with the Doernbacher 1’s yet). August 8th is the official release date that they’re available in Toronto (so I’ ve been told). Shout out to Footlocker for giving the SPC discount on the pre order.

Not possible… I was *in* Flight Club during my lunch break when they were bringing these in about 3\4 weeks ago… They were $375 when they first appeared in Flight Club (in the Nassau Street location, btw), and only since they’ve been coming out in stores internationally has the price now dropped to the $275-350 range. This man, is lying. Through his teeth, I might add. Heck, even Marquee Sole has ‘em for 250. That would’ve been more believable.

nice, but I cant do it. Retros are too old school with C-grade quality to be so high priced. Now them 60+ joints is raw. Nike has been good with making quality shoes lately and adding stuff like flywire and air max to LEBRONS just makes me want to forget about retro’s because they just are not as technically advanced.

remember the Spizikes last year?? They were originally international and people were dropping 200+ for them and then they came out stateside for 175. Keep that in mind. Don’t spend a ton for them from overseas because in a few months they will come out stateside and then you’ll be upset because you paid 250 and everyone else paid 175. Be wise people!

I copped a pair on eBay for less than $200 thanks to eBay bucks. I’m still looking for a 200- retro pair. As a Jordan III fan, I could not let these pass me by.

theyre not even coming to the states and we get them in stores here in New Zealand! .its good to live here we get pretty much all the j’s the states get + most of the euro releases but they don’t sell out as fast.for example i just copped the black/metallic gold spizikes from nike platinum for 220NZ last week. which is the same as 140US.i see theyre sellin over there for $300us.goddamm
