Nike Air Max 1 OG Quickstrike
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jul 1, 2009 It has been a long 3 years since the Nike Air Max 1 was last released in the original colors as part of the History of Air collection. While they were released last time to celebrate the Air Max legacy leading up to the release of the Air Max 360, this time around the shoes return to compliment the release of the retooled and updated Nike Air Maxim 1.
This Tinker Hatfield design classic (yes, the man killed it with this one too) was the first Nike shoe to put the Air cushioning on display with a visible Nike Air Max unit in the heel. While the HOA Air Max 1 was widely available, this release is limited in numbers to just quickstrike doors. We just received word from Politics that they have received the Air Max 1’s and are accepting phone orders. Politics |

Feet 1st is a prime example of someone who is new to this beloved culture we are all so infatuated with.
This Air Max 1 maybe “less than stellar,” but to others this is a piece of history. A true retro made to the exact standards of its forerunner. This shoe is beautiful man. The design, the groundbreaking technology. I could go on for hours on the memories i have with this shoe, but then again, newcomers don’t understand the love of footwear.

Feet 1st, this is an original color way . This is not just some new color that nike released to sell at foot locker, to most sneakerhead’s this shoe has a special value. this shoe is simple yet still one of the best looking air max’s
Jul 2, 2009 at 10:26 am
Feet 1st guess you haven’t heard of Jordan Brand, where all people do is line up for some red/black or red/white shoes. stupid right? wrong. I guess you know nothing about classics, which renders ur tag name useless. new sh!t = hype, OG = classic. Classics > Hype. PERIOD.
Jul 2, 2009 at 9:12 am
are people going to actually line up for these? As many different air max 1’s there is people actually are going to stand in line and wait for a less than stellar red white and grey colorway knowing every sneakerhead has at least one or two shoes in that color already.
