Nike Foamposite Lite Kryptonate Nate Robinson
Posted by Nick Engvall | Jul 8, 2009
Nate Robinson soared over Dwight Howard at NBA All Star Game in Phoenix wearing a pair of these Nike Foamposite Lite “Kryptonate” exclusives. They released shortly thereafter in New York City, complete with posters of what appeared as Nate leaping over building tops. Many of you were excited at the opportunity to get your hands on the kicks, especially, after seeing the prices on eBay. Today, we have received the word that RMK has a number of sizes in stock. RMK will also be throwing in a matching t-shirt as well, but the price is a steep $1000. Click here to see more photos of these legendary kicks. |

Jul 9, 2009 at 1:02 am
Man some of ya’ll n!ggas is trippin, the shoes are st8 flames. The shirt is hot too. And they are really limited so I can understand why its selling for so much. These should be the bad of the week. Cuz they are bomb. But with a price you gotta pay to get em, you would look str8 stupid in em. Can’t even bring them sh!ts out the box. Its like puttin candy paint and rims on a rolls royce. Not worth it at all. But them kicks is greatness

Jul 8, 2009 at 8:40 pm
wow
i remember when i first saw these during the dunk contest
now Nate also had a previous pair of Fly foamposite lites (the all orange with blue)
but im telling u theez take the cake
that lime green is soo obnoxiously awesome
and ur bound 2 have jaws drop and necks break when u wear em
but like everyone is saying
that price is wayyyy 2 ridiculous
i mean the shoes isnt tht important
everyones just loves the color
i think maybe 200
wud be the max i pay cuz the FP lites r like 160 i think so the 200 bux wudnt be soo bad
imagine tht colorway though on a regular foamposite
OMG HEAVEN!!!!!
Nike if ur reading this….take notes lol

I wont deny that the shoes are heat, but $1,000 is too steep. if you have the money and love em that much then heres your chance otherwise they arent worth it.
Jul 8, 2009 at 7:15 pm
should put more black
Jul 8, 2009 at 5:25 pm
i rather get some OG air jordan 1’s than these shoes or the DMP 11/6 pack still the same price

Yeezy’s got bought up by every actor, rapper out there and 3,000 pairs or less on a shoe that was as big as anything in years. These are much more of a niche shoe, if I lived in NYC loved nate robinson or was a complete dunk contest/pro basketball fanatic these might appeal. There appear to be atleast 100 pairs of these made even so, the audience world wide for the Yeezy’s and those who listen to Kanye’s music is more than 30 times the size of the audience who know anything more about Nate Robinson then his win in the dunk contest. You can’t compair the 3,000 pair to 100-200 without looking at the bigger picture. Kanye is an international superstar, Nate Robinson made a little mark on the shoe game and the dunk contest which has only been so-so the last 10 years running. They made a bunch of puma first round the lottery for NBA teams about 40 pairs for each team and people never paid more than retail for them. HOH NYC released some limited converse 12 pairs in each style promo’s and they sat on shelfs for $80. Its not the number made, shoes today are driven by the $$$ to be made off them, the percieved value/desireability/exclusivity they afford the buyers who will pay for them. All things said I would not mind owning these shoes and if they made 1,000 pairs of them I likeley would, but I know people who couldnt sell pairs for $700 never the less $1,000. Early resellers got lucky, pairs have sold for $600.

Follow up to my comments above. I do agree with you all that the price is outragous!!!!!! I am not saying that everyone who is b*tchin about the price are stupid. Only you people who think the shoes are garbage. AGAIN I AGREE THE PRICE IS RIDICULOUS BUT THE SHOES ARE BEYOND GREAT!!!
Jul 8, 2009 at 3:55 pm
The neon green attracts a lot of attention, but the price will make you look away!
Jul 8, 2009 at 3:55 pm
Hmmm So let me get this thru my head… You guys rather pay $650-$700 on some Yeezys that are quickstrikes? As opposed to a sneaker that are under 100 pairs worldwide with meaning and possibly go down in history? Everyone is crying over $1,000… did you guys go on ebay on week of release?… prices hit $3,000 without extras -_-. Well regardless i camped and got mine for retail .. $160 plus tax with shirt for $30, with sleeve, st patricks day jersey and poster everything autographed.
Jul 8, 2009 at 3:41 pm
Jr Lyon you crack me up
Jul 8, 2009 at 3:38 pm
hahahahahahaha
Jul 8, 2009 at 2:54 pm
real talk i think these are straight, (IMO), i seen some dude rockin them in the mall and they really stand out if they fresh, you need the shirt tho, i wouldent pay 1000 tho, the most i would spend would be 200, or 230 if i get the shirt, other than that i would rather get some retros or yeezys
Jul 8, 2009 at 2:54 pm
well…they look nice
Jul 8, 2009 at 2:45 pm
Hell no $1,000!!
We are in a Depression, no way Im paying that!! LOL
Jul 8, 2009 at 2:41 pm
CRY BABY’S BOO-HOO!!!! YOU PEOPLE ARE JUST HATIN CAUSE YOU CAN’T GET EM!!!
Jul 8, 2009 at 2:40 pm
You all are stupid. These shoes are sneaker history. The whole story behind them is one of the greatest. Superman won the dunk contest last year then tiny little nate robinson broke out the kryptonate to kill superman and beat him this year. Fantastic Idea!!! One of the best in history. I got the whole package shoes, real kryptonate shirt with K logo, black t-shirt with glow in the dark outline of nate, shooting sleeve, and poster. You all talkin sh*t are just haters cause you couldn’t get em. WELL BOO F-IN HOO!!!! CRYBABY’S
Jul 8, 2009 at 2:27 pm

Jul 8, 2009 at 2:14 pm
Couple weeks ago I was playing basketball against a kid who was wearing these. I would’ve been upset with him but it was Jacque Robinson Jr., his little brother.
Jul 8, 2009 at 2:06 pm

Jul 8, 2009 at 1:49 pm
You don’t get it? It’s $1,000 because it comes with a T-Shirt and a knee sleeve! You don’t see the VALUE here?!
I love the shoes but not enough to choose this over paying the rent. Why buy these when I could probably get original AJ XIIIs for half that price?
Jul 8, 2009 at 1:35 pm
super ugly , bad design , stupid color
Jul 8, 2009 at 1:28 pm
1000 dollars? It was nice knowing you.
Jul 8, 2009 at 1:25 pm

Jul 8, 2009 at 1:21 pm
Glad someone else on here has some sense, Sneakerphile42!
Jul 8, 2009 at 1:08 pm
@igotthatfire247- you are exactly right! That’s like paying og jordan prices for a retro. Crazy……
Jul 8, 2009 at 1:05 pm
Wow, a grand for these? That’s just crazy! I know nate wore these when he won be these aren’t the ACTUAL shoes he was wearing when he did it. For a grand I better get the exact ones he wore when he did it. Other than that, this is an easy pass
Jul 8, 2009 at 1:02 pm
Only worth 1k with the “K” on it … “NR” on it = Retail.
