Nike Zoom Kobe V Sample

The majority of you dubbed the Nike Zoom Kobe IV this year’s Best Signature Sneaker and rightfully so. Fast forwarding to the 2009-2010 NBA season, will the Nike Zoom Kobe V win the aforementioned award for next year? First off, we must note that this is merely a sample version of the Nike Zoom Kobe V. With that said, you cannot judge this shoe off of these photos. However, it does seem that Kobe is sticking with the low-cut sneaker for the upcoming year. It possesses a very similar silhouette of the Kobe IV, yet, it contains a couple of differences. For example, the base seems to be seamless and in one piece. Supposedly, the Kobe V will be even lighter in weight and not contain Lunar Foam. What are your thoughts on this Nike Zoom Kobe V sample? The Fat Tongue on the IV is way better - other than that… virtually the same, no reason to upgrade if you have the IV and if you can still get the IV it’ll def be cheaper - I really see no reason to get this instead of the IV,
The sole is dope tho…

they look super light due to the seamless one-piece upper. the heel area of the outsole kinda reminds me of a chicken footprint though… although if it works best for traction then i can’t complain…

Melo22: i’ve seen the CAD pictures from Nike for the Winter10 range. It’s this shoe. It’ll change a little before it drops, but this will be the shoe. Trust me, I’m a Nike Basketball Specialty retailer.

This was a KOBE IV SAMPLE and they changed it…do you really think nike would make nearly the same shoe as last year and expect to sell just as much o rmore?

If these are as comfy as the IV’s, and now have no lunar foam in them (all zoom air), it’s a must cop. I’ll buy 3-4 pair and wear them til the wheels fall off.

The CAD picture I saw at Nike three weeks ago was a lakers home colourway for inline… nice to see a sample pic, I’m guessing these aren’t gonna be colours they use, just basic samples for wear testing and Kobe giving the go ahead.

Love the shoe, don’t like the all black colorway. I seen these drawn up in lakers colors and they were SICK!!! I think these are going to be one of the most comfortable shoes Nike has ever made!!! Love the one piece upper!!! Look way more comfortable than the Kobe IV’s

Gonna have to see the final product to form a real opinion. These look way to similar as of right now. I see they are incorporating some type a sock liner/brace ala the Melo’s from a couple years back.

I would need to see more colorways. The KB IV is a Nike Classic. It will be hard to top the design.
