STPL x Airwalk Terrain
Posted by Nick Engvall | Jul 21, 2009 Yesterday we took a look at the History of Jeff Staple Pigeon Collabs. Today, another of Staple’s latest works has surfaced.
The STPL x Airwalk Terrain may hit retailers later this year. Priced at around $50, these will be sold exclusively through Payless Shoes. No surprise, as we predicted that we would see Payless exclusives last year when news broke that Jeff was teaming up with Airwalk. Many of you predicted ridicule to those camping outside of Payless. Keep it Real Airwalk and represent the old School style cause those were the freshest years. Catch me rockin airwalk ones in classic CALI JNCOS you heard meh.

Don’t wear Airwalks, but these are actually pretty clean. Good look. Of course the those who ride the ‘Swoosh’ know nothing but how to hate. So now price determines how lame the shoe? Okay, well I will compare price and intelligence. If you think paying 3-5 times the price for a pair of clean kicks when you only have to pay $50 for these is dumb. Which makes you ‘haters’ dumb. Wow, that was fun. *lol*
Someone explain to me HOW in the atcheedoublehockeysticks these will look good with a white tee?! Some of you all need to learn how to dress. *lol*

Ya you all kno if these had a swoosh you would be all over it but because they are Payless they suck right?Have none of you ever been so poor you have to save money doing odd jobs all year to buy ONE pair of nice sneakers? I’m glad a big street wear brand like Staple got together with Airwalk and made a good looking, affordable pair of shoes.

Damn nice shoe for fifty bucks. I don’t care if it’s at Payless or a sneaker boutique. My self worth isn’t wrapped up in where I shop.

this post is hella funny. My pop’s has been wearin airwalks to mow his lawn for a good 10 years now. I had to tell him when he copped thats all they where good for!!!

not big on brown sneakers, but these are ok. i like the silhouette, would be cool to see it in some other colorways.

How you gonna judge the overall design of the sneaker by the laces, something which is so minor. Buy a new pair for a few bucks if your not diggin the color of the laces. They come with red or black laces. Im the one who took the photos and i opted to lace one of the sneakers up with the red laces just to see how they looked.
Im not allowed to post the images at this time so ill wait for somebody else to leak them in honor of my respect for Airwalk and Staple. However, the collection will include the brown Terrain shown here, two low tops with one of them in all white and another in black/red and then there will be a pair of slip-ons…Those will be the 4 releases for the guys, in sizes 6-13…The womens collection will be available in sizes 6-10 and will include two Terrain models one in white/grey and the other in black/purple/yellow. There will also be 2 two low top models for the ladies, both of them having a white/grey/purple color scheme with one of them having a plaid pattern incorporated into it….When i get the word i am allowed to release the pictures i will post them up….Good lookin on the linkback too Nick.

pretty sick. never seen this color way with bright red laces before. I’d rock em to death this winter. M-65, white tee and these make a sick outfit.

I like.
The design language is great. good to see they didn’t stray too far from their past, but just enough of an update.
also nice to see Staple didn’t do a stupid Pigeon make up of it.
