The news of Brett Favre returning to the NFL (again) has taken over ESPN, hit many news networks, and now made its way to your favorite sneaker site. Alright, to be honest, Brett Favre isn’t the focus of this article, but he does get his due for inspiring us to compose a list of our favorite Nike Turf sneakers of yesteryear.

In the Pro Streak’s Woodson became the first and only defensive player to win the award upsetting Tennessee’s Peyton Manning.

I had a pair of air speed turf max…the only problem tho is the toebox really creased bad bcuz i wasnt a sneaker head wayyyy back then…didnt use shoe tress and what not!!! Nike should bring this heat back= I would totally buy!!!

Ya keep saying they already retroed Barry’s. They retro a pair of Barry’s. But not the Super Turf that came out like a year or so after the Zoom Turfs. DT2s are the best, hands down. The Rod Woodsons, Air Bowl Trainers, I had em. Love em.

I FORGOT ALL ABOUT THE JEROME BETTIS KICKS, THEY WERE INDEED FIRE. I REMEMBER THEY CAME OUT THE SAME YEAR AS THE REGGIE MILLERS THAT GOT RETROE’D. That was such a dope fall/winter, back in 1996: Air Jordan XII, Air Penny II, Air Pro Streak Max!!!

man, i thought the missions were forgotten. one Nike turf shoe i really want to see is the Nike Turmoil. i really wanted these but i had a wide foot as a kid so, no Turmoils for me. i got another nike turf shoe instead. don’t remember the name. it was black and white. Nike really needs to bring back the DT 1s in both the white/black/ teal and the black/purple purple colorways cause my foot was too wide for those also.

^ I remember those Rod Woodson’s they were classics. I had the Blk/Wht Jr. Seau’s back in like 8th grade. I loved those shoes, I used to rock em with the white Seau Jersey. The ones I had were higher(3/4) than the low ones yall posted which look gross.
