For the past several years, Jordan Brand has brought back a number of retro Jordans, but in some cases, several at once…on one shoe. Blending together the elements of a number of sneakers, JB has been able to demonstrate that it is possible to create something new from a combination of the old. Jordan Dub Zero - A History of Jordan Hybrids
The Jordan Dub Zero was the first hybrid to release. Though there was no specific theme for the shoe, many speculate that the shoe was created to celebrate Tinker Hatfield’s work as all seven models on the shoes were designed by him.

on the real out of all of the hybrids the dub zeros are the best especially the 1st one’s and the 6 rings 2nd
but the rest of those ugly mothers that boy JB needs to drop those prices back down to like $110 especially how the prices are on the GOT DAMN TAXES…. TO HELL WITH TAXES

My favorites are the Dub Zeros. Especially those above, i got them when they first came out , i was in the 8th grade. I absolutely loved those, still have them in their original box.

i think the reason why so many people dislike the 60+ is that it incorporates only 4 shoes, meaning a simpler design, making it seem drab. also, the execution of the 60+ is just horrible; i dont know who designed it but hopefully it wasnt michael jordan himself. for one, there is way too much of the 5s. using the 5s maybe as only the sole would have been alright, but also being the silhouette seems to steal the spizikes original design. i felt that each jordan hybrid should have had a unique silhouette, and the 60+ definitely ruined the flow of the hybrids. also the use of the 1s toebox should not have been used; it seems out of place and makes the shoe look like a clown’s. maybe a swoosh sign? there was not enough of the 7s to say it was part of the shoe. the 23 on the back is good but maybe more of the side panels? like the actual three perforations? the use if the 2s seems adequate enough to me. of course, all this is totally my opinion, but i think many would agree. i hope this message goes out and reaches jordan brand. really, they really fuxked up on this one.

I’ve never been much of a Dub Zero Fan, but I would have to ultimately lean towards the 6-Rings (they have alotta live colorways and I like the design). Next I would have to go for the spizikes (Especially the Gray on Gray and the “Nellys”).
Now the 60+ might stick to me the more I actully see them in person.

I like all tha Hybrids other than the Dub Zeros….Tha rest of the Hybrids are timeless…And the Dub Zeros just look old and played out now….But Tha 60+ are tha best one’s….Handes down…If i Had to i would stand in line for the white, blue and yellow joints…..

The Dub Zeros are my favorite hybrid, Obviously because every shoe was designed by my favorite shoe designer Tinker Hatfield, and because they’re tight. The spiz’ikes are nice too because of the classic look it beholds from the AJ3 Print and the AJ5 because of the eyelets and mesh, and the classic lace lock. The 6 rings are decent in there original colorway (black/red). The Sixty Plus looks pretty good in the Lacey High colorway. But any other colorway isn’t catching my attention.

of all of em i like the 6 rings the most. they’re the ones i actually OWN. but in the flint blue colorway (after the XIII) if spizikes came out in 06, wtf was buggin out wearin in do the right thing?? were’nt they spizikes??

spizikes are the only hybrids i liked and actually paid for,i cant wait for the black/and cement spizikes to come out next year,those are going to be the most popular and most sold hybrids of all time because its going to have that old school jordan 4 colorway look,i went crazy when i first seen the spizike black/cement sample pictures online,i just hope they change the blue jumpman thats on the middle of the tongue on the sample pair before they go in to production.

The Spizikes were (and will only be) the only hyprids I paid for…and I think its because they had the most classic look & feel…and most importantly, the AJ 3 pattern & sole. The endorsement of Spike didn’t hurt either…these really became a statement.

The Spiz’ikes are instant classics, I got the cool greys, Nelly’s, cement, only wish I got the black/red/green.

I agree with tRill^^ if they made the hybrids limited ( like tier zero-only 150 made of certain cw etc.) I think they would have alot more respect BUT since there so common people don’t appreciate them. I have a few spizikes and 6 rings and 1 dub zero that I wear to work but I don’t think I can wear em around friends who are in the shoe game cause those cats are really into the whole “og or retro only”. I say wear em if u like em ! I’m still not sold on the 60+ but maybe if nicer cw’s come out I might reconsider- time will tell…..

As far as the 4 and 6’s…no the Spiz’ik’es aren’t better. But the rest…yes…wayyy better. Not to mention the colorways of the Spiz’ikes are better than most OG colorways of retro jordans.

My ranking:
1) Spiz’ike. For me, it’s because they take into account my three favorite J’s: 4, 5 & 6. Yes, I know it has others in it, but those three are my favorite J’s.
2) Dubs. Cool idea to celebrate 20 years of J’s.
3) 6-Rings. I like that the 6 Rings are good to ball in. For being only the third hybrid (and there will be many more), it’s a shame that three ideas were recycled from the Dubs: the 12 tongue the 11 patent and the 6 hoop on the heel. Is it necessary to rehash just two hybrids later?
99) 60+. Just don’t do it for me.

Me and my friend debate on this all the time. He is creepily obsessed with Dubs and has 4 different colorways.
Me, the only hybrid I ever considered and bought was the Spizike. The only ones I got were the cool grey and honestly, they are damn nice!
Keep your 6 rings, I’m warming on the 60 plus, but the Spizike, it looked good instantly and I think is head and shoulders above the other three.

My Favorite are the Spik’ze I think that JB should release the True Blue and DTRT Spik’ze again by 2010. and the 60+ are not awl that bad it makes up the history of Jordan back in his older days to the new days.

Sizikes for sure. The six rings are played out the 60+ is just garbage I thought they were another bad nock off when I saw them. The dub zeros are ok but nothing special at all.

Spiz ‘ike next year mite be one of the best so far but i didnt like dub zeros till i seen the white black and cement pair just recently dropped and the 6 rings only 2 colorways were worth anything as for the 60 plus love the grape and the laney high colorway so im feelin at least some colorways of each

The Spizikes entered the game with a perceived value much higher than any of the other hybrids.

Dub Zeros used to be hot…that is until the Spiz’ike’s came out. Spiz’ike’s are definitely the best Jordan hybrid ever. The 6 rings are nice but only in some colorways…(concord…black/red). 60+ = a more uglier version of the 5’s. UGH! Terrible.
