Adidas Celebrates 60!
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Aug 18, 2009 It was 60 years ago today that Adolf Dassler formed what would be at one time the world’s largest athletic outfitter. The brand’s name was formed from his nickname “adi” and the first three letters of his last name “das.” Put them all together and you spell out a brand that has left its mark on some of the greatest moments in sports history.
