Air Jordan 7 DMP 60+ Pack
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Aug 6, 2009 Michael Jordan had a number of great games throughout his career. Whether it was hitting a game winning shot, hitting a clutch 3-pointer, or pulling out a defensive stop when his team needed it, you name it, Mike did it.
One of the most memorable performances by Michael Jordan came on January 16, 1993 when the Chicago Bulls played host to the Orlando Magic. MJ’s 64 point game wasn’t quite enough to win the match, but his outstanding performance will be honored with the release of the Air Jordan 7 DMP 60+ Pack. MJ wore the Air Jordan 7 and thus represented in this pack is a “Bulls” and “Magic” colorway. The Black/Red colorway was the one MJ wore while the other pair is inspired by the Orlando Magic colors and include such details as the tongue of the Nike Air Penny 1 and a veiny detail on the midsole which ties back to the swoosh of the Nike Air Penny 1. The release date of this pack has been officially pushed up to release August 15th for $310. |

You cats need a history lesson so here it is! Back in 1992 when these came out we were open I was a junior in HS and Nike had so much to choose from and I’m talkin’ original designs not retros! You had the Mowaabs, Huraches and hip hop was in it’s golden age cypress hill had just debuted an Ice cube’s death certificate had just dropped. Brand Nubian was hot ad well. So when I see these kicks I see an era when everyone had their own style and was fresh not a bunch of punks with their sisters jeans on who wouldn’t have a culture if it wasn’t for what the pioneers established!!! These pack is not worth $310.00…, but I thought it was going to sell for $275.00…?
I like the pack, and didn’t expect the release date change. I also don’t get paid until next Friday, and was planning to buy this pack the following Saturday. Jordan Brand always makes last second release date changes. I bought a pair of 7s just a few years ago, like the Black Citrus colorway, and the Black Carolina Blue colorway. And I have the Olyimpics 7s too, and those cost me $135.00 each pair, but today Jordans now cost an arm and a leg. I’ll cop this pack, but JB is really testing me for a while now, and I have been very picky about what shoes to buy and not buy. It seems that Jordan is not getting away from packs. I know there will be more, but JB is not “packing” the Space Jams or the Flu 12s, hmm…? Of course they jack up the price of those, but they won’t “pack” them… way to manipulate prices and your product selling… I am on to you… JB!

These are tough. I was set to get these for the longest. But after I found out that I could pre order the Space Jam 11s, I went ahead and did that. So, I’m putting this pack behind me and waiting to cop all the releases this fall. Besides, I only wanted the Black/Red Raptor colorway in this pack anyway. Hey Matt he didnt actual wear the black colorway when he hit the 64 points against Orlanda. It was during the regular season so he was wearing the white 7’s (cardinals) during that game but this pack is still nice. He wore the Black shoe in the 1992 playoffs when he won his 2nd NBA championship.
