atmos x New Balance 576 “Face Off 2 Turbo”
Posted by Peter Sim | Aug 14, 2009 Japanese retailer/brand atmos is back with another New Balance collaboration with the “Face Off 2 Turbo” - a pretty slick 576 remix in a white/teal/purple/lime colorway with a hodge-podge (albeit well-executed) of materials on it.
The upper consists of a bevy of materials from the lenticular side-panel and back heel tab to the cement heel panel, but turn out the lights and the shoe reveals a glow-in-the-dark dot matrix pattern on the toe. Other detailing includes the two layers of speckled print on the midsole as well as the artwork on the tongue. While the reviews will most likely be mixed on these, atmos proves once again to push the envelope in the elaborate design that we see in each product drop. Expect availability to be highly limited. new balance is ill …im a true Nike head..but im not gonna lie I do have the pigeon new balance and i would def not mind having these in my closet…gonna try and get my hands on these.

“I wear new balence sneakers to support a narrow path”-Qtip. I like NB’s except the cheesy ones they sell at champs that’s u can get 2 pair for $69…I say try em on first before u make a decision

I like how ATLein4LITE tries to play New Balance but spelled his own name wrong…these aint bad, wouldn’t get ‘em though. I’m sure your dad and grandpa wore NIKE at one point and then grew up.

I like how NB is kicking it up a notch in the creative colors, they need some work a little tho. But I do like the direction.

Great balance of design and material. It can be called cement print which varies from elephant based on texture NOT color. Step your game up before you down someone else’s.

not really feelin these but i remember doing that new balance logo in 2004, and marketing was like u cant redo the logo but now i seem the using it everywhere, hahahahaha

How come this website consistently calls elephant print cement print? Cement elephant print is grey colored elephant print. This should be the only time you call it cement. You guys are supposed to be the authorities on sneaker sh!t. Step your game up.
