realmadHECTIC x mita x New Balance MT580

Japanese brands realmadHECTIC and mita have partnered yet again to bring you these New Balance MT580s. The three brands have a long and storied relationship with each other, and with this model, so it should come as no surprise that they’re back at it.

This pair’s design is clean and simple, sporting a navy blue heel and carolina toe. The two shades meet in the middle, fading into one another on the leather upper. Cream panels provide accents on the toe, near the heel and on the tongue. Near the toe, a multicolored confetti design breaks up all the blue, adding in just a tiny bit of yellow and pink. Meanwhile, the “Go Hectic” lace tag reminds wearers of realmadHECTIC’s involvement with these sneakers. This design may not be as wild as some of the three’s past designs, but the simple colorway makes for a clean take on a classic running silhouette.

    these are pretty nice

well i think these are great. rich materials, simple colourway that isn’t neon, and a nice splash with the speckle. all in a silhouette you won’t see everyone in your town wearing. it *is* a nice 580, to me at least.

Knowing damn well if it had a swoosh on it instead of an “N” half of y’all dumbass kids would be changing your underwear right now. I’m with Retro3 on this one….it’s all good though. Y’all keep beastin’ for some junk to turn yellow in a box somewhere…

new balance are good for jogging and running even though i would rather throw on a pair of air max people has their tastes and there are people out there that thinks these are dope but not my cup of tea.

  5. Scram

I saw a old guy from china in the chi on vacation with these joints on. they went well with his blue members only and black fanny pack.

this isn’t horrible but definitely at the bottom of the mt580 stack. and the photo angles aren’t the greatest either which really doesn’t help. saddest thing is that this is a collaboration, so somebody put alot of effort into this, at least they were supposed to, but i hope they didn’t.

I like the speckled paint on the midsole at the toe. I’m a bit concerned about the texture of the leather where the two colors meet, but it’s probably just the light this particular shoe was photographed in.

  8. Banksta

Better than the gay ass supras all these metrosexuals are wearing.

  11. Feet 1st

NB’s are great but the MT580 never had a chance with this colorway. I like the specs on the sole but the colors of the upper do them no justice.
