Are you tired of seeing the recent inflation of Dunks and Blazers as of late? Some of you may feel that Nike should keep them coming, while others want to see something fairly new. With that said, Nike is bringing the Vandal High back after a little hiatus in an unmatched, attention-getting colorway. This Nike Vandal High Supreme Vintage “Electric Green” is expected to release in February 2010.
We must applaud Nike for being innovative with the infamous Vandal by way of color scheme. In attempt to mix ‘old’ and ‘new’, Nike applied a futuristic electric green color to this Vandal’s nylon base and combined it with an age-old-looking vintage sole. It also contains a black border around the swoosh and a black/grey ankle strap. Nonetheless, this particular shoe will be nothing less than a hit when it finally releases. Also, look out for its colorway counterpart coming soon. What are your thoughts on this Nike Vandal High Supreme Vintage “Electric Green”? |

i don’t ever like the used look on kicks. if i want that i will just wear my kicks until they looked trashed instead of giving them away to friends and family after i rock ‘em a few times. BUUUUUT, with these i actually like them. usually the used kicks have these old school colorways and muted colors that make the shoe look horrible. but the contrast between the bright nylon and orange-ish tan colored sole is hot. i could see me pulling these off.

If you want a vintage style and look, you go to a vintage store, and buy vintage gear. The number 1 rule to having a LEGIT vintage look, is you DON’T buy new shoes and clothes that LOOK vintage, but aren’t. That’s FAKE. Therefore, despite how good these shoes look, they completely collapse due to a whack concept.

ok, i’ve never really understood the fascination with aged shoes. seems pointless.
