jordanhead83 They OG 5’s for Mike only. See in 1990 folks got the AJ5 but without the 23 on the heel. The retros didnt have them eitherin 99/2000. Then the retros for… I think 07 dropped the nike air logo and added the 23 on the heel.

Retro 3 no, Im saying what he did noone or nomatter how many rings some else wins or does can compare. Horry won 7 OK, is he better than Jordan? Hell no!!! But some folks think that if Kobe or Lebron win 4,5,6,7 rings thats going to make them better than Jordan.
No way in hell can they match what MJ did for the NBA,NIke, and the game of basketball.

Robert Horry was selected 11th overall in the 1992 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets as a small forward. Horry collected his 7th championship in 2007 and no shoe, big contract, or dunk. I remember the night of the draft and the guys saying when Houston took Horry. ” Oh my God they justed passed up on baby jordan out of USC” for this ” Fresh prince of bellaire looking muthaF@cker”. And 2 rings later Houston was Clutch City! Miner 4 seasons later out with 2 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
Its not all about the rings.

He made people watch! the NBA, Bulls Vs. Dallas games. The Slam Dunk contest, Commercials, Peoples’ shoes, etc….. I saw him do what noone as done in the NBA or sports for that matter. Only Tiger Woods has been able to make folks who don’t give a F@ck about golf or watch tune in. Kobe is a great player……. but I f@ckin hate him. But if he was on my team? I’d be wearing a 24 for on my back. Jordan made kids in New York, Boston,L.A.,Houston,Detroit and the world wear 23 on there back. People died for their “Nike Air Jordans” He did something that can never be done again.

never seen Jordan play…of course I seen highlights but LeBron is just so much more physically gifted than both of them so i would pick him out of all three(even if they were all the same age) he is faster, stronger, bigger, and more aggresive, and he does not get hurt. I stick with that pick even if lebron never gets a ring. Its the Cavs fault if he doesn’t. Jordan was the greatest of his time not all time.

But Nike saw the potential and poured their money into Jordan.
Back then Reebok and Adidas were the two big brands in NBA scene.

Did Kobe make NBA?

Look why Kobe, Dwayne, Carmelo, and many more NBA player likes to wear Air Jordan.
Is it just because Air Jordan shoes are good shoes? I don’t think so.
Kobe Bryant will be remain as a great player in the history of NBA.
But Michael Jordan is one of the greatest players in the history of NBA.
That is why I believe Jordan is the Best player of all time.
