After all the colorways have been released, will the Yeezy become a certified design that will retain timeless relevance? |

its funny how people in this side are talking so much crap about this shoes and probably none of them have them i have 2 colorways and I’m waiting to get the last one from some one and yes i will pay 600 bucks for them and yes i will lined up for them. Try not to get upset when u can’t get what u want. I grew up in a single parent household and couldn’t afford the jordans when they first came out as a matter of fact didn’t get my first pair till the 11’s and the only reason I got em was because I had a job. We can’t have everything and can’t get mad when people have things we can’t. Such is life!!!

Apart from the hype, it’s a really hot looking shoe. This black one is so badass… best of all the colorways. But there’s just too much hype hype hype.
The hype for Air Jordan is much more palatable because he actually DID AWESOME THINGS in his shoes.

agree with the first post. all classic kicks have be GR. If the yeezy’s were GR’d then we could see if it was really all hype or if this shoe really is off the chain. The silhouette,design, materials, and colorways are definitely dope. But a GR would piss of all those dudes who camped out for days and all those dudes who copped on ebay. Only way a GR would work without decreasing value among the hypebeastlings is to make the GR MSRP like $500. and who’s going to cop at that price. This will be a legendary shoe, and a classic among many, but not among the masses like MJ’s Kicks.

This colorway needs to drop as well as the black/reds with the glow n the dark sole and swoosh. I ordered the black/pinks which will probably touch ground once. I’m a sneakerhead but not a fan of droppin $$$700 for shoes. Also wanting on them space jams to drop November 27th…

The real, I’ve been in this game way before you hopped on the bandwagon, my son. Unlike some folks, I’m not trying to live in my adolescent days and dress like a young f*cktard. Unlike them, my tastes have matured and I like certain things that pertain to my style. With that being said, I’m just not into the Yeezy’s… Money and homies/sources are not a problem in my area… Yeah, I can be a jackass and go out and spend a $1000 on a pair of shoes but I would rather invest in something that would benefit me in the long run; A house, a car, investments, etc. I may have friends that work at botiques and skateshops but that doesn’t give me the right to abuse the fact that I have hook-ups… What, I can’t simply go to a shop to just hang out and shoot the sh*t with them and not have to talk about shoes?! I’ll tell you this, the guys that have paved the way for this certain scene that you are in are truly humble guys and don’t rant to the world that they create the best clothes or shoes that this industry has to offer.
Spin, you are right, people are entitled to their opinions and people will hate whether it’s bad or good. It’s all about individualism and therefore that’s why I don’t like the Yeezy’s. Yeah, I don’t make music and I’m not rich as sh*t as Kanye is but it sure would be nice to get free sh*t thrown you every so often.

You are way off base here. Although I don’t have to camp out (years in the game develope connections) some people aren’t as fortunate and have no alternative to get limited releases. They don’t do it cuz its “cool”, but cuz they HAVE to.
Secondly, love him or hate him, Kanye is opinionated and as with most of the world, when people speak the truth, speak it loud and bring their ideas and opinions straight at you, people get scared. Then the hate on you. If you have a voice, speak it! If people don’t like it, screw em. People aren’t put on Earth to make “everybody” love them. The people who only care what everyone thinks….those people are the conforming sheep who heard to the flock.
Besides, you don’t sell multiplatinum records, have every major company ask you to endorse their products and win so many awards you could melt em down and make a dealership full if cars cuz people hate you. The opinions of few are obvously not shared by the masses.

Kanye West didn’t even design the friggin’ shoe!
