Air Force Friday: Purple/White High
Posted by Greg Grovey | Sep 11, 2009 The Air Force One High Purple/White was brought back to the spotlight last year in our Throwback Thursday weekly column, and remained a topic of discussion for quite some time. It is hard to believe this Air Force One was originally released 16 years ago (1993), but when examining the material and quality its easy to tell. Using premium leather mixed with a smooth and simple colorway, this shoe became a instant classic among shoe lovers.
In 2008, Nike held a voting secession in which the votes of three cities (New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore) would determine the best Air Force One of all time. With a very slim margin, the beautiful shoe you see before you was crowned the best Air Force One ever! With that being said, Nike agreed to re-release the shoe in limited numbers in New York, yet, we are still waiting on it to happen. What’s up Nike?? Click here for more |

there was so much hype around this contest, i voted so many times for these cause there my grails. nike needs to release these asap because if they try to do another one of these voting things again no one will do it

They cold! but they need to bring out the hi’s in all black wit the gum bottom. Thats the best air force one of all-time.
