Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Red Detailed Images

In the past month, we have given you detailed shots of the soon-to-be-released highly anticipated Jordan drops including the “Space Jam”, the “Flu Game” and the Air Jordan 12 White/Red. In addition, we now have in-depth images of the 2010 release Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Red. If you recall, Michael Jordan sported this sneaker while winning his first of six championships. With that said, this classic sneaker first hit retailers during the 1990-91 NBA season. However, this retro seems to feature a couple of different attributes from the OG version. For example, the infrared accents that were seen on the OG version have been swapped out for varsity red. Furthermore, the predominately black base seems to be made of suede rather than nubuck. I THINK VARSITY RED IS VERY CUTE. INFRARED IS FOR DUDES BORN IN THE LATE 70′S. THOSE DUDES ARE TOO OLD AND IRRELEVENT. YOU’RE ALMOST DEAD SO QUIT COMPLAINING.

on the link you posted it states that the material is nubuck for the shoes you are showing here.

it doesnt really matter, cuz it has nothing to do with me, but statements like this are the reason i cant stand so-called sneakerheads … it’s obvious you dont really care about the shoes, just the fact MJ played in them or whatever … These are not meant to be a re-release of an older shoe … They are black/red not black/infrared … IT’S A DIFFERENT COLORWAY … if it was the other way around, and they originally released like this and then they brought out a black nubuck and infrared version today, everyone would trash those … THAT’S WACK … JUDGE THE SHOE NOT WHETHER OR NOT IT’S A SHOE THAT CAME OUT BEFORE … this shoe looks better than the black/infrared, that’s the truth … admit it … deal with it … keep it movin …

i might copp one pair,the thing about this release with og sneakerheads that are like myself about this release is that super soft suede nubuck,its nothing like the og or the first retroed black/infrared 6,s,the red doesnt bother me,but imma tell yall youngns this,dont wear these in the rain/snow/or winter time in general at all,because that nubuck suede is like the suede in front of the black and red 14,s,and i must say that material will be destroyed really quick if rubbed the wrong way,or worn in the wrong weather,,just take a look at how the black/infrared6,s, look when they first dropped and when they retroed in 2000,that material is super different and better than this new suede they put on them,the old nubuck on the 6,s,is like the material on the black/metallic 5,s,it looks better and way more easier to clean and they can survive in alot of different elements with out messing up easy,Jordan Brand dooped the young heads with this release,because that material is not the same,im happy i was alive to get them when they first dropped,ill be on the fence heavy on these,i dont know if its worth the money after i think about how this shoe is really suppose to be built,and dont do multiple copps of this pair cause youll be mad at yourself after you see how easy that material gets ashy and misses up.

Well I won’t be getting these or the spacejams or even either of the 12’s or anyother shoes for a long time because unfortunately I still have parents that control my evrymove and even tho I buy all my shoes with my own money and never ask them to buy shoes for me I am apparently still not aloud to get anymore shoes until all the ones I have already are completely unwearable it sux being a young sneakerhead
