Complex Presents: The 100 Best Sneakers of the 2000’s
Posted by George Kiel III | Sep 15, 2009
What was your favorite sneaker that released last year? How about the shoe that won you over five years ago? It is hard to remember previously-released sneakers when all of the brands are steadily dropping new silhouettes and classic retros month after month. However, in an attempt to jog our memories, Complex has created a feature dubbed the The 100 Best Sneakers of the 2000’s. More than likely, you will remember sneakers you attempted to purchase at any costs as well as sneakers you wish you never saw again! With that said, click here to view Complex’s 100 Best Sneakers of the 2000’s. |

Why should they put retros in it? It is called the best shoes of the 2000’s and all theJordans mentioned came out in the 90’s.

Hmm.
Now I’m really wondering why XI’s are missing.
Space Jam XI’s have only released twice.
EVER.
Both times this decade.

Pretty solid list, I think they spent a bit more time putting this one together than they did on the dunk list.

I’m not sure what it says about our industry when over half of the shoes on that list were ALSO the best shoes of the 80’s.
Anyways…
There’s TONS of shoes missing.
LeBron II. Huarache 2K4 (not sure how this isn’t on here). Cool Grey XI Retro+ (!??). The Kobe. Shox BB4. Gel Kinsei. Zoom Kobe IV. Hyperflight. Tons more.
(And1 Tai Chi & Flightposite 1 can be considered ‘99 I guess.)

after that dunk list i really dont feel like going through 100 pairs of sneakers they “claim” are the best of 2000. i aint even start getting into shoes all like that until 2006 when i got my first job.
