DJ AM x Nike Dunk Put on Hold
Posted by George Kiel III | Sep 4, 2009 In mid-June, we relayed the surprising information from Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM’s Twitter regarding an upcoming project between himself and Nike.
DJ AM stated: “This is one of the most amazing moments. I just HELD the sample of MY OWN DUNK! I never dreamed this would happen. Wow, THANK YOU G0D!” AM was well a very well seasoned sneaker afficianado with some reports stating that he had a Nike collection that exceeded more than 700 pairs. Today TMZ has reported that the upcoming shoe that was going to be part of and East vs. West Rivalry collection has been put on hold until details are sorted out with the Goldstein family. |

Jr_Lyon more then enough props goes out to you for putting it out there and for seeking the help you needed to be where your @ today. I totally agree with ya homie and the proceeds should be sent to an organization that can offer the same help to others…

I used to be a meth addict. Been clean and sober for over two and a half years now. Now all my money goes to shoes. It’s sad that with all he had in his life he was addicted to drugs. If Nike does go ahead with DJ AM’s project it shouldn’t be a tribute shoe because anyone on drugs shouldn’t be tributed but it would be cool if the proceeds went to some sort of orginization for drug rehab

Nike should make it a tribute shoes and donate all the proceeds to an organization for drug addiction/depression/suicide… something. But don’t cancel the project!

do bespoke if you want a one of a kinda shoe. Worth every penny and the cost of the flight to NY.

Dats wuts up I want my own Nike shoes
Sep 4, 2009 at 12:21 pm
Probably the best thing to do for Nike.
Put it on hold or make it a tribute shoe.
Donate it to a charity.
