Nike Air Penny II Black/Copper Update

Yesterday, we showed you exclusive photos of the Nike Air Penny II Black/Copper, and 100% of those who commented gave it positive remarks. At the time, there was no word of a release date for this sneaker; however, we have just received word that it will release tomorrow, September 26th, 2009 at House of Hoops! This particular sneaker gives a true, literal meaning to the word ‘Penny’ in regards to the accent color. Its predominance of black on the base is comprised of leather, nubuck and foamposite material. The aforementioned copper accents are also accompanied by an outsole and visible Air sole unit of the same color. Click here to view detailed photos. |

These will retail for $145 at House of Hoops. And I agree with $CASH$ and hope that JB take a closer look at what Nike is doing with their retro and exploring new colorways and stop wastin people time with fusions and silly hybrid shoes.

best retro of the year, best c/w of the year, hands down. i’ll take these over the space jams. not because they are better. the space james are probably the best sneakers of all time. but every body and their moms will be in the space jams.
