Nike Air Pippen Hybrid

It is safe to say the Nike 1/2 Cent is the best Nike Basketball hybrid we have seen ever. The original colorway was undoubtedly one of the highly anticipated sneakers of this year. Now, Nike closes the Penny Hardaway signature sneaker chapter for now and focuses on Scottie Pippen’s signature line. At a first glance, this Scottie Pippen hybrid does not hold a torch to the aforementioned Penny Hardaway hybrid or any other hybrid we have seen. Obviously, it most revealing feature is the enlarged ‘AIR‘ on the side which is most notably recognized on the Nike Air More Tempo. In addition, its sole reminds many of the Nike Air Pippen II. We all understand that Nike is trying to honor some of the better signature shoe lines; however, is this yet-to-be-named hybrid really a tribute to Scottie or was this made in honor of Pippen’s days with the Rockets and Trail Blazers? This shoe is horrible. The hybrid, yeah right. I’m pretty sure no will buy that shoe. Please apologize to Mr. Pippen in advance. It’s ugly. Nike needs to bring back the original air pippen colorway black suede with the word “air” trimmed in white. Those were the best.

these r hott!!! def a must have…i was a huge fan of the original “AIR” tho…doesnt bring pippen 2 mind but more of an updated version of the “AIR.” Penny fusion was waaaaaaaay better.

i personally think the 1/2 cents were some ugly ass hypebeasts. incorporating more than 2 shoes into 1 in way to much for one shoe. 1/2 cents were ugly n even a blackout cw couldnt hide the sloppiness. NIKE needs to hire new designers. fcuk this crap.

The dopest Pippens to ever drop were the nylon black and silver IV’s. I had 2 pair and wore them til they fell apart!!!! (killed the patent leather toe on them hoopin). They should re-release those.
These aren’t that fly, but I bet they’d be good to hoop in.
The 1/2 cents are trash to me, too busy and too damn heavy to hoop in.

How could you do a Pippen hybrid and leave out the 1’s….probably his best sneaker. Plus, I just don’t feel that the Pippen line was that great. The kicks he wore before he got his own signature kicks were better. That’s just my opinion though.
