Air Jordan 6 Retro Doernbecher
Posted by George Kiel III | Oct 28, 2009
Upon first showing you photos of the Air Jordan 6 Retro Doernbecher, the comment section was filled with both positive and negative remarks on this sneaker. If you are the one of those interested in this sneaker, we have now spotted it at Nike’s online store thanks to Daily Drop. Obviously, this particular sneaker, along with the rest of the Doernbecher releases, was designed to raise awareness and funding for the Doernbecher Children’s hospital. As stated earlier, you can now purchase this Air Jordan 6 Retro at Nike’s online store for $165. Update: Obviously, Nike has made the Air Jordan 6 Retro Doernbecher unavailable for purchase now. However, we will notify you once it is made available again. |

Oct 28, 2009 at 7:58 pm
Anyone who got there order in will get their shoes shipped out this week.
Oct 28, 2009 at 4:15 pm
Totally agree with MAX POWER they’ll make over double if they auction em
Oct 28, 2009 at 3:46 pm
The thing about these charity releases and the charity not getting the amount these shoes are actually worth is a simple solution. Nike should just auction the damn shoes. That way, their real worth would be donated and not some lame price thats gonna be doubled when they hit ebay.

I just chatted with Nike customer service and they said Nike would be sending out emails very shortly as to the status of orders already placed. He didn’t have any information other than that, but it didn’t sound like the shoes are going to ship before the actual release date.

DAMN!
Oct 28, 2009 at 12:56 pm
I though there was a finalized version of this shoe with contrasting red stitching . . . i liked those better
Oct 28, 2009 at 12:33 pm
i got two pairs confirmed on email BUT (hopefully they come through) and that was at like 11:50am.
Oct 28, 2009 at 12:33 pm
Sounds like we have two conflicting stories.
I know that 165.00 is a lot of money. I am not sure what percentage of that amount Nike Donates to the foundation. It may be all or a good percentage. But if you think about it, when a reseller on ebay is selling it for upwards of 399.99, the foundation does not get any more of that money. The whole purpose of the shoe is to raise money for the foundation not to line someone to profit from it.

Just got off the phone with Nike rep…..And she had no clue about the shoe…..It might have been a mistake

Oct 28, 2009 at 12:20 pm

Oct 28, 2009 at 12:19 pm
hey javier super genious if u pay 165 that goeS to charity whats it matter if people resell em seeing how at 165 there over priced any way.

Oct 28, 2009 at 12:16 pm

Oct 28, 2009 at 12:11 pm
I am calling Nike right now. Will give you guys an update.
Oct 28, 2009 at 12:10 pm
they were up since about 2:10 am and they took them down at about 12:35 pm i doubt anyone who ordered after 2:30am will get a pair
Oct 28, 2009 at 12:08 pm
Well, if no one chimes in and says he or she was actually able to buy one, then it most definitely was a mistake.
Oct 28, 2009 at 12:08 pm
when is the official release date for these?? someone please let me know. Gotta get them to support!!
Oct 28, 2009 at 12:06 pm
I think that nike nike made mistake putting them. i dont think they are out, it was put up early by mistake and taken down already.
Oct 28, 2009 at 12:06 pm
The thing that troubles me about this shoe being sold out is that the money is intended to go to charity, but people will buy these, resell them and profit from it.
Oct 28, 2009 at 12:04 pm
Sold Out.
Oct 28, 2009 at 12:00 pm
i tried to look at it on there and it already says it’s unavailable
