Converse Wade 5 Sample

The Converse Wade 5 will likely never release, due to Dwyane Wade’s switch to Jordan Brand. Yet, here are some sample pictures to give us a look at what the Wade 5 could’ve been. This shoe features many visible technical facets in the heel. There is visible air cushioning as well as an exterior plastic structuring through which the laces are laced. Presumably, this latter feature would aid in heel lockdown. As it stands, the Wade 5 is on hold. There’s a good chance it won’t release ever, but if it drops without the Wade name, could you see yourself playing in these? Head to the comments section and let us know how you feel. |

Great looking sneaker, nice heel cushioning.. , however to reach a more contemporary look, I’d like to see the logo removed from the side of the shoe, to the back, drop the (wade injury report logo) raise the star to a swollen center, and presto.. one of the best converse sneakers ever!…

The star and stripe are what Converse are ! If you don’t like it go buy a pair of JB like all the other brainwashed wanabees! In the day Converse where on the feet of Dr. J , Lary Bird, Magic, and Larry Johnson just to name a few , Then Nike came along with more money , just like they did with Wade. I would have rather created my own brand at Converse than follow in somebody else’s name(JB)with Nike! If JB is so good why did they need Wade? In the interview he said it was there(JB) decision for him to switch.

These actually aren’t bad at all. They appear to be a decent shoe for playing ball in.

These kicks aren’t bad at all. I think Converse should still release them, just without the Wade name attached–kind of like what Nike did with the Vick 5 a.k.a. the Game Day. All in all, these shows a nice progression for Converse Basketball.

These dont look that bad the design anyway the material and stitching makes it kinda bad to me but u cant compare jordans to converse id rock a lot of the team jordans and melos etc before i would rock these well these are better than the melos actually

These are really nice and clean. I could rock these while dunking on some poor baller….love the black and white verison. Hope they have some color options too though!
