This latest Nike AF1 Bespoke, the brainchild of Ramon Cerda, features an eclectic array of materials as well as a high contrast between the medial and lateral profiles of each shoe. Cerda intends these Bespokes, named the “Rotten Apples,” to symbolize New York.
This symbolism may be seen through Cerda’s deliberate application of contrasting white and brown suede to the medial and lateral heel panels respectively. The inner white suede is meant to represent the inside of an apple as if a bite were taken out of the brown suede, the exterior of the rotten apple. The leather swooshes mimic this contrast. Moving forward from the heel, there is red croc leather on the lateral mid panels and white leather for the medial mid panels, thereby continuing the “bite effect”. The toe box utilizes a red nubuck framed by a hot red patent leather. Moving upwards, there are green leather eye stays on each shoe that frame brown suede tongues below brown laces.
The shoes are crowned with red croc tongue tags with contrasting green stitching. A translucent midsole and brown outsole serve as the foundation for the superseding material warfare. |

I think these are straight crack. Like he used different materials too make them a real 1 of 1. What’s point of dropping $820+ to make them look like a GR??????? So these are hot IMO. Also concept was sick because If you look at rotten apple that’s process of colors that happens to Apple when It’s rotten.

I like these I think their straight crack. Like isn’t the point of making a bespoke is for them too be your 1 of 1. Everyone that has done one has thought their pair was good. Like why would you wanna go and design a regular pair, that would look like a GR?????
