Nike: No Endorsement Deal with Michael Vick

Yesterday afternoon, we received word that Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick re-negotiated a deal with Nike. Vick’s agent Joel Segal stated that, “Michael Vick has has a great relationship with Nike and is excited to be part of the Nike team again.“ However, following the aforementioned news, Nike has clarified the official negotiations it has with Vick. KeJuan Wilkins of Nike released a statement pertaining to this matter that states, “Nike does not have a contractual relationship with Michael Vick. We have agreed to supply product to Michael Vick as we do a number of athletes who are not under contract with Nike.” What is your opinion to this updated news on Michael Vick and Nike? |

To all of the people that hate Michael Vick you are sad people,the man paid a very expensive price for the crime that the law convicted him on.Remember this not only did he loose alot of money and material items he lost respect from alot of his peers.This is the best country in the world that we all live in why can”t we give Michael a second chance to do right,we give politician a second chance we give the police a second chance and i know we all have given a family member who keeps getting in trouble with the law a second chance.So i applaud Nike for aleast stepping up to give Michael another opportunity to prove to him self that he can make a difference in this world.To all of the haters may you find peace one day in your life.

Everybody is still Michael Vick hating!!! No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. How would you feel if you did something wrong and people keep hanging it over your head??? Everyone has broken the law!!! Can you honestly say you have never speed in your car, thats breaking the law!!!! Do you know anyone who has been to jail??? Do you disassociate yourself with them or talk down on them??? Let the past be the past and let this man move on with his life!!!! REAL PEOPLE LIVE STRONG, HATERS HATE ON…..MOTIVATION!!!!!

Everyone need to get off there high horse Vick served his time let him regain his right to earn. Your just mad that you cant do that. I want the Vick sneakers back those were hot and remember people it was just dogs leonard little killed someone and was still in the nfl ray lewis was paart of a cover up for killing someone and people love him. So get over it Vick is back and here to stay !!!!!!!!

I just regained my respect for Nike after losing it on hearing about Nike re-signing him. No decent human being would consciously pit two innocent animals to fight each other to the death and bet on the outcome. Just plain sick.
Also, it’s been widely reported that he’s a douche from way back in college.

Please. Vick is a great talent, but he’s a massive A$$HOLE…and I’m sorry, but you deserve to lose your endorsements after murdering who know’s how many dogs…especially a top company like Nike. Nike is smart…they can’t have Vick on the team after the $hit he pulled…it’s Public Relations 101. And the Air Vicks sucked anyway.

Free Gear is the next best thing to getting your own sneak and getting paid to wear it. All the GODS on here that Judge People for the mistakes they made in their life just remember he who is WITHOUT SIN let him cast the first stone. Because you may not have killed dogs but sin is sin in gods eyes and one is no lesser than the other and WE ALL got sins he gotta to answer for. Forgive and learn from it and move on trying to be a better person which is what he’s trying to do.

This man killed dogs it isnt right okay! .. People rape kids , people kill pregnant women and none of em get as much **** as vick does he made a mistake said sorry. and is now back in the NFL , for you to talk smack about him is unamerican cause everysingle american has made mistakes but very few of them have apologised mulitiple times on national tv.
Nike is doing the right thing hooking him up with gear. But has no contract which is just playing safe.

SlickKickJunkie. He’s the only QB in NFL Historys To pass for a 1,000 yards & Rush for a 1,000yards Name other QB who has done that. He’s the only man to run 20yards bckwards then run for a touchdown vs the vikings. He’s been to the playoff’s with the Falcons. He’s a good QB so all u haters stop hateing let the man do him. He’s has records in the NFL so u can sleep on him.

Vick is garbage. What did he ever do with Atlanta? Nothing. Just like he is going to do nothing in Philadelphia or wherever he goes. Kolb threw for over 300 yards in each of his first 2 starts.

this is crazy, he did two years for something he shouldnt have done two years for. Nike did this with kobe, they didnt name the hurranche’s after kobe, now they only want to supply him. Philly is not the place to re-start a career, but i hope Vick gets back on top of things

still give Vick the Nike Turmoils . . . white/black/green and retro them. Kanye hasn’t committed a felony yet; that’s probably why Nike worked/works with him. Vick will be back on the team in time.

It’s simple poli-trix. Free cleats, clothes, gear…..is endorsing last time i checked. Instead of writing the check out to Michael Vick; it will be written to Ron Mexico.
