Nike SB Dunk High “Gucci” & “Bloody Gums”

The Nike SB releases keep coming, as the stateside release of the Nike SB Dunk High “Gucci” and “Bloody Gums” is expected sometime in the very new future. For the time being though, both can be had online via Kasina. The “Gucci” Highs are similar to the Clark Kent Dunks we covered in depth not too long ago, though these are the original design featuring denim instead of corc skin. The outsole is red also, rather then the gum the Kent version appeared with. The demand for their return has been high, and it looks like Nike has answered. The “Bloody Gums” use an all suede upper, mixing teal and red. Color blocking varies for these from the Dunks we’re used to seeing, as the rear flap is red and the toe box is teal. The outsole is clear, revealing a red underside. Are these some of the better Dunk SBs as of late? Click here for more pics. |

oh BTW am I the only 1 that feels that those red laces dont really go with those guccis?
idk they seem a bit to bright compared to the red thats actually on the shoe…..
ill prolly order those gucci laces sold by fully laced on karma loop…

I bought the Clark Kent Guccis n im definately happy with them
n personally i think they are way hotter than these SBs and oh gawd the material used on the KENTS are incredible
either way i will still buy the sb version of the guccis and those bloody gums…

Hey folks,
This is Nick from Diamond Supply Co.
I just thought I would brief you guys on the concept behind the shoes and how they came about.
Sam Smyth from Girl Skateboards designed these back in ‘05 and I helped him a little with the materials. These were designed the same day as the Diamond “Tiffany” Dunks and were suppose to say Resn on the tongue, which was what Sam used to write when he was in the IBC tagging crew in SF. Green for the weed, red for fire and black for the resn. Gucci was just the nickname for the shoes but they were really going to be named Resn SB just as Tiffany’s are really named Diamond SB. True Story.

Maybe its cuz I’m not a crazy dunk fan like yall, but I’m not feelin either one of them. Maybe its jus cuz ion like high top dunks a lot (I like lowtop wayyyy better) or its cuz the bloody gums look kinda kiddish. An the gucci’s is madd hot if they was lowtop. Buh if they ever get lowtop gucci’s they a def cop. Buh for now my shoes I’m lookin forward to are the Flu Game J’s. Omjesusss they hot and the rising sun’s too. To much fire for me.

I’ll only get the Guccis if I don’t have to call in favors for them. I picked up the kents and enjoy the fit of them quite a bit. The rest of the SBs for november are all pretty damn nice too, so the potential is there for me spending way too much on sneakers next month.
