Project Bluefoot x Air Jordan Design Winner

After a few months of reviewing and critiquing, the Project Bluefoot x Air Jordan Design Competition has finally come to an end! Judges Jason Mayden (Jordan Brand Senior Designer) and D’Wayne Edwards (Jordan Brand Design Director) lent their opinion and remarks for this design competition and both stated that they were extremely impressed. As you will see after the jump, there were some highly-detailed designs to say the least. In the midst of all the sneaker enthusiasts that entered the competition, Tom Matic walked away with the winning design (shown to the right). For Real the best design was jon lee who were the judges cause tom matic is wack they look like And 1sneakers i would never buy them but if Jon Lee design came out i would get those they are fresh.

I’m a big JB fan. I try not to diss the designers because I know they give their best. But sometimes their best isn’t good enough. How do you have two guys critiquing shoes who have created some of the worst AJ’s to ever be released? D’Wayne Edwards used to design Sketchers for Christ’s sake! Inspiration is overrated. If the shoe is wack no one will care what inspired you to create it. Because the V was inspired by a fighter plane, did that make you want it more? No! The shoe was dope. Those John Lee’s are dope. And Titus’ concept was dope too. Maybe not the best drawing but you can tell what he was shooting for. No wonder JB has to go back to Tinker for help.

The winning design is koo but is blan. John Lee gets my vote, but it don’t matter… Nike will steal the design anyway.

they remind me of the xix and those were some of my favorite jordans i might actually get these and thats sayin alot because with the crap they put out over the last few years i thought jordan was dead to me

seriously, this is some serious talent….
Nike,
Don’t sleep on signing any of these cats….hire them ASAP if you want to keep your clientele base or else you’ll end up like reebok….and we all know how dooky and wack reeebok is these days. They are finally catching on to your business model, which consist of reissuing retro’s and retro’s with different colorway… but both Nike and Reebok need some assistance in the innovation dept. Innovation equals these cats above. Get smart or be broke!

not to hate on the winner cuz they doin stuff i really cant do and wish i could but i think the better designs were from either frederick roy and John Lee only thing i dont like about john lees design is the squareness of it but aye hope jordan would take notes and drop anyone of these

Man Jordan should hire some of the these guys there is about 3 designs here that are way hotter then anything jordan has come out with in the last 3 years excluding retros of course. If the pic of the new jordans that have been on here are the real design they need to scrap those and run with one of these
