Robert Williams x DQM x Vans Vault Era
Posted by Alex Kroviak | Oct 26, 2009
Robert Williams may not ring a bell right away, but his artwork has filled galleries for decades. And to coincide with upcoming gallery show at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery in New York City on October 31, he’s paired with DQM and Vans Vault on a very limited run of Eras. The video follows Williams’ creative process on this sneaker, which involves going way further than designing a color palette and throwing his logo on it. The 13-pair run will release on Halloween, the same day as the art show, only at Dave’s Quality Meat. All 13 are numbered 1-13 and autographed by the artist. From the video we learn the construction process of Vans as well, which includes some special attention being paid to the quality of the craftsmanship and detail in a way we rarely see. tell me what all this crap he drew means. i cant even identify half of this ish. the second pic looks like white brains. the third pic looks like a bum holding some liqour. WTF this ish is stupid. okay i will give him credit for “drawing” the panels but i want to see them blazers. the ones that look like a wall to some catholic church, them joints is nasty!!! these are ooogly why you think they made the pic of the actual finished product so small.

suckers you are seriously either; a) a complete ignorant kid b) living under a rock your whole life or c) a claimer of fine art knowledge, in which you have none.
You obviously know nothing , and have zero appreciation for it if you can’t even give the guy credit for hand drawing each panel.
i swear some people that come through this site are fu-king retarded.
please enlighten us with someone you feel nice kicks should give some shine to, i’d really be interested on who you think is good art.
