Under Armour Prototype Release Info
Posted by George Kiel III | Oct 6, 2009
Ever since we showed you the black/black colorway of the Under Armour Prototype, the majority of you fell in love with this new silhouette. Upon unleashing its first photos, it was stated that this sneaker was not releasing at all; however, we have just received word that the Under Armour Prototype is presumably set to release some time in 2011. Since its first photos surfaced on the web, we have spotted a few more colorways and a commercial featuring Under Armour signee Brandon Jennings. Although he is supposedly, the only basketball player signed to the brand, expect more to follow before Under Armour’s debut on the basketball scene in 2011. Why are they waiting til 2011 that is ridiculous. We’ll have seen these shoes so many times by then nobody is even gonna want them.

I’m honestly shocked its pkaying out so long for an official release.
I’ve mentioned on this site before that I got a chance to wear a sample pair for a game this spring. I was guessing they’d eventually hit retail spring of 2010 at the latest.
Yes its UA, no its not Nike or Jordan, but the shoe does have amazing comfort and performance. Even if you wait til they drop to sales or clearence, nab a pair. You’ll be suprised.

2011??? Why is it taking so long. Other sneaker companies pound out shoes like theres no tomorrow. The shoe is growing on me, but if I have to look at it for another year and a half, it’s going to loss it’s appeal.
