Taking inspiration directly from vintage French military uniforms, this two-pack of Vans Chukka Lows comes in both a greenish brown and a navy color-up. Not only is it rare that we see the Chukka in the low format rather than the boot style, but the details on these really set them apart.
The “Land and Sea” concept is translated into the color designs for the uppers, and they both sit on a textured white sole with a black accent strip. French text appears on the inner side of both pairs, handwritten the way a soldier at war would write in his journal. The Sea pair uses a blue canvas with navy blue strips for accent, while the Land pair gets army green pieces. Both also used waxed laces for additional quality.
How do these rank compared to the other Vans we’ve seen lately? |

I can never track down any of the limited Vans releases that you guys always cover. Any tips on where to look online or in the Cincinnati area? These are amazing as well as the all white Del Barco’s. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
