adidas Consortium “Your City” Series, part 3

adidas Consortium "Your City", Part 3

In the third installment of the adidas Consortium “Your City” Series, Europe, Canada and Japan are all paid tribute and given their own collaborations, as the sneaker giant has paired with a shop in each city.

The adidas Tokio is done here by VA, a shop out of Tokyo. This sneaker uses an all black upper, mixing ripstop nylon and leather on the toes. Yellow accents are used for the lace loops and a white midsole finishes them off. Toronto’s Livestock went to town on this runner with a load of grey in suede and other choice materials. Blue is used for accents, and an orange heel patch pops off the darker color-up. The London is done here by Crooked Tongues in a dark grey, while red stripes and gold are used throughout, including the top eyelet. Finally, the adidas Paris is done by Colette, who chose a clean white base for their project. The stripes are done with multiple colors on the stripes, which use a polka dot pattern. All four shoes also feature special tags, representing for each shop and their hometown.

Bape Evening Sta

Bape Evening Sta

Bape has been unloading some very nice designs lately including the Bapesta “Croc” Pack, the Woodland Camo Bapesta and the Wood Land Pack. In addition, Bape will be premiering a new silhouette this season dubbed the Evening Sta.

Similar to the aforementioned releases from Bape this year, this particular shoe owns a very subtle makeup and colorway. Matter of fact, there is another colorway which is done up in all-black seen after the jump. In regards to the design, the Evening Sta features a low-cut silhouette with a three-strap velcro attribute across the midfoot. It also possesses monochromatic, imprinted designs designs on throughout the side panels as a nice, added feature. To finish it off, the words, Bape Sta! are featured in gold on the side panels as well. Both colorways are now available at Bape’s online store.

Nike Hypermax TB + Hyperize Supreme

Nike Hypermax TB & Hyperize Supreme

We’ve seen a number of team and PE color-ups for both the Hyperize and Hypermax thanks to Kicks on Court, but none of these four crazy colorways have surfaced there just yet. Despite it being officially winter in most places by now, these Nikes are coming with a tropical design.

Oddly enough, no college team was seen wearing these in Hawaii at the Maui Invitational recently, though they feature the same print on the heel or ankle as the Hyperdunks for Texas players in 2008. Colorado and Vanderbilt would have looked great in the gold and black colorways. The Hyperizes feature a patent black upper, while the Hypermaxes feature a white construction with gold accent snad Flywire. One the flipside, Gonzaga and Arizona could have both played in the red and navy blue pairs, which use minimal amounts of white with the exception of the Swoosh. It’s a shame we didn’t see these on court, but they’re very unique regardless.

Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Premium

Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Premium

Amsterdam’s Patta dropped their third Air Max 1 collab in the last month on Thanksgiving Day last week in-store, and until today we thought they’d be too limited to grab in the states. This isn’t the case though, as Shoe Gallery in Miami will have them for sale tomorrow, December 1st.

These feature a purple perforated suede on the toe and near the ankle, matching the laces. Dark blue corduroy adorns the uppers and tongue, while a green Swoosh and tongue tag are used. A navy denim mudguard completes the look, tying these into the far simpler White/Green and White/Purple releases that have already released. As played as the phrase has become, “all black everything” describes these Zoom Stefan Janoskis perfectly. Wool is used for the upper, with leather square laces to match. A black vulcanized sole is used, as it has been on the previous models we’ve seen. Which pair of Janoskis have become your favorite?
