I always love the Jordan Brands innovations, but on this one I think they kinda half assed it, but it looks cool though (the window). The design isnt half bad, kind of reminds me of the Jumpan Pro quicks, which I loved back in the day, but not so much when they were retroed a couple years ago. You guys say the same thing every single year about the new Jordan model, then a couple of years later you realize how great they were and are, how ahead of its time. Just give it some time before everyone realizes how great these are, how great the 2009s are and so on.
Without the hole in them, these shoes wouldn’t look half bad, but the the hole is just way too distracting. I guess it does offer a bit of customization though, since you can rock a different color of sock and matching laces and end up having a slightly different colorway…

ok im going to say something which may surprise a few but if you look at the overall shoe itself it really isnt that bad the basic structure looks nice material looks pretty good too along with the midsole and inner lining but the thing that kills the shoe which most may agree is the somewhat random “thermoplastic?” “window” i think it was really unnecessary it looks ridiculous and the shoe would have better off without it but overall id say it seems to be a good shoe but it looks like major changes like removing that “window” wont be made and these will just have to hit clearance really soon
I’m a bit disappointed. I thought that JB would come harder than that being that it’s the 25th year anniversary. The retro releases will make up for it though :o/

These have to be the worst addition to the signature Air Jordan Band series so far. They are hideous and no one I know persoanlly so far is going to cop. The window idea was a good idea but the execution was horrible. Just a plain “O”. It looks so odd. And cheap. The 23’s are the dopest in my humble opinion. I have no idea how people can front on those. but these look funny in the sense that it looks like something a kid would draw up with his protractor and compass. At least they are trying to something different. I want to see the bred colorway first before pasting judgement. Most of his shoe regardless of the design gives a different look in the bred colorway.

I love the emphasis on comfort (just finished watching the video promo) and lightweight performance. This is what I’ve been waiting for Jordan Brand to “get” (a clue). I don’t mind the design, either. Can’t say I’m especially crazy about the round “window” on the side, but if it increases breathability…fine. Let’s give this one a chance, readers. The “2009″ was, imo, a total wreck. This looks like a step in the right direction. Hopefully the future colorways will bring out it’s personality, but I’m just excited about playing in a pair of these.

RIP Air Jordans. The 2009’s were a shot that wounded the brand, this is a flat out head shot, Air Jordan’s are dead. These are hideous, I’d rather be seen in some Peaks or Li Nings any day of the week. The first things I look for when approaching a new Air Jordan are: does it belong to the line? Can I envision Michael playing in these shoes? I can say yes to those questions when looking at this design and that couldn’t be said about last year’s model. I think one can definitely see Tinker’s hand on the 2010 design. The use of patterns, the red and black colorway right off the bat, etc. I think it will take a while until everybody absorves this whole window concept, but in time, I think sneakerheads will digg this shoe.
i think JB has come to the point where they think we’ll buy anything just because it say JORDAN on it. theyre about to find out theyre dead azz wrong, because these are gonna sit on the sales racks longer than the fusions do…

Without the hole in them, these shoes wouldn’t look half bad, but the the hole is just way too distracting. I guess it does offer a bit of customization though, since you can rock a different color of sock and matching laces and end up having a slightly different colorway…

ok im going to say something which may surprise a few but if you look at the overall shoe itself it really isnt that bad the basic structure looks nice material looks pretty good too along with the midsole and inner lining but the thing that kills the shoe which most may agree is the somewhat random “thermoplastic?” “window” i think it was really unnecessary it looks ridiculous and the shoe would have better off without it but overall id say it seems to be a good shoe but it looks like major changes like removing that “window” wont be made and these will just have to hit clearance really soon

The window idea was a good idea but the execution was horrible. Just a plain “O”. It looks so odd. And cheap. The 23’s are the dopest in my humble opinion. I have looked at the shoe on nike.com and they are not that bad. The window thing is a little out there.
At least they are trying to something different. I want to see the bred colorway first before pasting judgement. Most of his shoe regardless of the design gives a different look in the bred colorway.

I’m bothered by the fact that Jordan Brand has actually made socks that go with the shoes and no sign of them in the press. There ARE actual socks that were made to go with the shoes. I love the emphasis on comfort (just finished watching the video promo) and lightweight performance. This is what I’ve been waiting for Jordan Brand to “get” (a clue). I don’t mind the design, either. Can’t say I’m especially crazy about the round “window” on the side, but if it increases breathability…fine. Let’s give this one a chance, readers. The “2009″ was, imo, a total wreck. This looks like a step in the right direction. Hopefully the future colorways will bring out it’s personality, but I’m just excited about playing in a pair of these.

The first things I look for when approaching a new Air Jordan are: does it belong to the line? Can I envision Michael playing in these shoes? I can say yes to those questions when looking at this design and that couldn’t be said about last year’s model. I think one can definitely see Tinker’s hand on the 2010 design. The use of patterns, the red and black colorway right off the bat, etc. I think it will take a while until everybody absorves this whole window concept, but in time, I think sneakerheads will digg this shoe.
