Air Jordan White & Red Collection at NikeTown

A little late for the Jordan Hall of Fame hysteria is this display, going on now at NikeTown in New York City. Similar to the online History of Flight we saw awhile back, all of Jordan’s signature silhouettes are on display in a white and red colorway like we’ve never seen before.

From the Air Jordan 1 to the 2009, all are present. Naturally, the 2010 isn’t on hand just yet, but given that we’ve only seen the D-Wade PE and first release colorways, that may not be too much of a surprise. All pairs also feature black laces. Not 2 attractive 2 me. I’m a red/wht man all day but these wht/red joints r just ok. Nothing serious @ all 2 me. The 14s & 18s could prob pull it off n my collection but the laces w/come out b4 they hit the streets on me. My faves like the 3s-5s 9s & 11s get no 2nd take. Colorway just destroys them. Keep coming w/ideas c/it keeps me on edge. But u didn’t win me over w/this 1. Sorry maybe next time.

Nike town publish it saying its red if they aint.. trust they red look at the pics where the lite is blocked off n ya’ll see that they red n nOt orange.. it dont matter most of em look funny in that color wave. aint feeling em

This Nike Town better have some good security…. because i know if i wasnt sane… i would break into that store and take em all… And the good thing is im almost sure that they r all in my size lol. These are some of the nices AJs ive seen. Verry nice work JB. Put these into production and the Sneaker cominity will deff go into a Great Depresion.

when are these droppin,i need to know asap,if not where are these located,these things are a work of art,good idea with the bottom soles,to bad JB probably wont release these,it could bring back that nastalgia they use to have back when jordan was playing,JB just wanna tease us with the best thing they have[^^^^^^^^^^^^^],then give us subpar cheap suede retro,s,and fusion,i wish they would release something like these,i would be broke for a few years copping multiples of each one,im in love with these,imagine these in the summertime,unbelievable.

I really don’t like the color scheme for theme. The all white idea was WAY better than the white and red idea. I hope these stay samples. Most of the shoes up there if released would stay on the shelf for at least 6 months and that’s being generous.

I agree that 1-14 are still the best ! Those 12’s are sick! I stopped wearing jordans because of the fusion garabage but i would buy those 12’s!

Seeing the IX makes me wish they had Jordan Brand ID:

For years now I’ve been begging JB to give us JB-ID — I know we’d pay premium cake for that opportunity, but damn. If they had JB-ID I’d spend so much more scratch than i do right now with the JB company. I only buy the retros. I’ma old-head, all i want are the retros bc I had all of 1-12 (OG) when I was growing up.
I know they think offering JB-ID would hurt the brand, but i beg to differ. It would give them some credibility back if we could build our own retros. Since they very rarely give us what we want anyhow.
