The design philosophy behind the JUICE x Reebok Pump 20 is to visually bridge the OG Pumps and contemporary design practices within the silhouette of the Pump20 retro. To accomplish this, the Honk Kong boutique utilized the White/Blue OG colorway as a foundation for the shoe. Then, to inject their desired trendy flare, JUICE replaced much of the white paneling of the OG make-up with an ebullient rose gold. The rose gold extends below the upper to tinge the midsole and gently fade into white. The sheen radiating from the shoes is augmented by the metallic silver accents on the heel. As a final touch, there is icy accenting throughout the shoe from the pump on the tongue down through the wings on the upper and into the portions of the outsole. A co-labeled tag hangs from the top lace hole.JUICE will drop twenty-four pairs of their first collaboration at their Hong Kong location on November 20th. Click the flip for more photos. |
