Young fans of LeBron and Kobe have been treated to exclusive player-branded AF1s, and for awhile it looked like Beantown babies wouldn’t get to show the love for their favorite team. Nike clearly hasn’t forgotten about them though, as they’ve released these GS AF1s in Celtics colors, celebrating the long-time face of their franchise. Paul Pierce won’t be seen sporting these in Kicks On Court any time soon, but maybe his kids will. The majority of these use black nubuck, while perforated leather in white and green is used for the mid-panel and toe sections, respectively. Paul’s “P2″ logo adorns the upper near the heel. Black stitching attaches the uppers and midsole, which is accented by a green outsole. The color blocking, like the aforementioned Kobe Bryant GS AF1s, keeps things simple with team colors. These are out now at select retailers. |

Why the hate on the AF1? It’s a classic sneaker. They’re not my favorite shoe but I definitely have love for them ( I mean AF1’s in general not these in particular).

could you make the outsole a little higher? it doesn’t look ridiculous enough. AF1 = garbage
