Nike KD2

Nike KD

The upcoming signature basketball sneakers, from Nike and Jordan Brand, have been receiving both positive and negative comments upon the arrival of detailed photos. Within the past couple of weeks, you have given us your two cents on the Zoom Kobe V and the Jordan CP3.III. Now, voice your opinion on the Nike KD2.

This time, Nike and Kevin Durant chose to go for a predominately one-tone leather as opposed to the two-tone, patent leather upper seen on the KD1. The KD2 also features a velcro strap across the midfoot area. As a nice texture contrast, this shoe possesses tumbled nubuck on the aforementioned velcro and the section above the sole. Other features include a ribbed heel cup, the Kevin Durant logo on the velcro strap and the word Two in the same place. What are your thoughts on the Nike KD2 compared to the Nike KD1?

  2. dtipp

thunder games are always sold out. thats why sonic fans lost out cus they couldnt even buy a ticket.

  3. OREGONtrees

Are they more people at thunder games than there were at sonic games?

  4. Rob

    Those colors don’t help

  5. Thick$auce

how much? KD seems to like his shoes being a bit cheaper for the kids

  6. dtipp

maybe if you weak ass sonics fans would show up to some games every once in a while??? OKC!!!

  8. a

I like them. Understated and not gaudy.

  9. Danan

Hmm, I wonder if there is a full length zoom sole?
    Possible cop…

being from vancity< i miss the grizz n sonics, never been a blazers fan. still got to say that these don’t fit the bill. love the colors but the materials and the fact that there isn’t a pivot point don ‘t fly with me…

  11. kick2thehead

Im from vancouver and yeah i miss not having to travel to portland to see a game but gotta say these are weak! RIP GRIZZLIES and SONICS!!! Too bad the NBA gave up on the northwest! But all in all these aren’t up too snuff!

  12. Crazy7

These would look so much better in Green and Gold. Just put the team back in Seattle and let Durant play in a REAL basketball city!
    Supersonics forever!!!

  13. bshsyuo

these look like an Adidas shoe with a Swoosh tacked on

  14. 216

What’s on the medial part of the shoe. On the ones they were patent leather. I wonder if these are the same. Not bad. KD is one of the nicest and most slept on players in the league.

  15. RETRO8S

they kinda look like the KD1s with a strap. and how come Kevin’s shoes doesn’t get any flywire??

  16. bielasiak

they look cheap cuz KD wants his shoes to be affordable for the guys struggling in the hood, aka they ARE cheap… but yeeah there’s some potential here. The KD1s were very different depending on the cw’s and these will probably be the same.

  17. imcalmnow

If they wouldve taken the material that was used on the strap and side and put it on the whole shoe, then it wouldve been a sick shoe that wouldve been a classic, the back of it is crazy, thats the only part i love as far as its made, but this is a pass if it stays looking like this.

  18. size12whut

i’ll reserve my hate till i see them in another colorway. and your right, they do look cheap.

    $69.99 anyone?

  19. MJSF
