Nike SB Classic High Black/White
Posted by Alex Kroviak | Nov 14, 2009
Nike SB will roll out these high top Classics in December, but we’ve got a look at them now. Using a tried-and-true white, black and red colorway, these use dark suede to provide a base for the white leather Swoosh to jump off. Red is used on the tongue and tongue label, as well as parts of the sole stitches. Nylon is also used for the tongue construction itself.
We’ve seen a lot of simple colorways from the SB camp lately, including this Zoom Air Harbor in grey and black, which looks to be a low-top cousin of the pair we’re seeing now. |

I have to agree to you all the most…
These overall show less of what I could say good skate shoes…
It really looks awkward, just like the 6.0ish, and even 6.0 had better option to overpriced SB’s, that only afforded by the bigger pocket collector, not the real target of SB which is Skateboarder.
And then I do agree to the ugly tongue these pair had, it’s to small if it compare of it’s overall shapes…
At least SB can widen up a bit, and give extra memory foam at tongue, to give more comfortable…

i agree with matt, the low classic is nice, but this is bad, kinda like the acg tako mid, the low is nice, but the high looks dumb

I would try to like the shoe, but the tongue is just really ugly… It doesn’t really fit with the rest of the shoe.

Really Matt? maybe it’s because I’m not familiar with the particular Wimbledon model, but this looks like a pretty clean looking sneaker.

SB Classic was built from the Wimbledon, a low top tennis shoe. This looks very awkward and Nike 6.0 ish to me.
