DC Shoes’ resident expert on motocross, skydiving and all around shenanigans added a new meaning to “burning rubber” lately, as he had his dirtbike rigged in a very special fashion. Both wheels of his bike were given special one-off wheels treaded with DC Shoes, making up for the lack of regular tires. In the video after the jump, you can see the process by which these are made, and watch Pastrana give these the ultimate torture test. The stunt was designed and filmed for MTV’s Nitro Circus and also a DC ad running now. Travis proclaims that DCs are “the only shoe [he rides],” but it’s fair to say that even he didn’t fully understand how true that statement could prove to be. |
