History of the “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11
 Just leather and rubber right? ?Let’s face it there is much more that goes into a shoe than just the raw materials thrown and sewn together. ?While every shoe has a story to tell, the stories that the “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 tells are of legendary status.

Date: May 14, 1995
For Game 1 & 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Michael Jordan turned heads and broke necks breaking out the “Concord” Air Jordan 11. ?Repeating history, these shoes were swiftly banned because of a uniform violation since the rest of the Bulls were wearing blacked out sneakers. ?Game 3 MJ took on Penny wearing his shoe, the Nike Air Flight 1, but for Game 4 in front of the home crowd, Jordan broke out a shoe that would be later referred to as the “Space Jams”. ?Though the shoes did technically sport black treads on the bottom of the sole, the shoes did rock a royal blue Jumpman and clear sole just like what we would later see in his Silver Screen debut.

Waited in line for Eleven hours only to see somebody with hookups walk in before me and buy both in my size. I had to take a 9.5 and trade it for 10.5 and then trade again to get 11. Ah!! For the love of space jams
Walked up to a Footlocker in Houston and waited atleast 20-30 mins. I walk out with my pair! First time this has happened to me!

That sh!t is so whack that people look down on others who can’t or couldn’t get the space jams…..If you were able to cop them, please be thankful you able to cause that could easily be you on the other side of the spectrum. I just amuses me how (not)humble and ungrateful people are during these bad economic times! Seriously, get over yourself!
I live out in Colorado and was able to cop them a few days (I had to work on release day) early at a mall about 1hour away from where I stay…It is in a small town, so I had no doubt I would be copping these shoes because where I live, everybody is into Nike Dunks and skateboarding shoes and such, which ain’t really my style!!! The SpaceJams, they wouldn’t give a 2nd look to!!!! I am glad I am not still living in Detroit because I heard the sh!t was crazy trying to cop these shoes release day!

Just got an email from Eastbay. They gave out a discount for their lack of handling all the traffic. Guess it’s an “I’m sorry” for not getting the Space Jams. Still doesn’t sit well with me, but I guess it’s better than Finishline still “PROCESSING” my order. lol
